Harmony of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International will significantly expand the accommodation offering aboard Harmony of the Seas as part of its upcoming Royal Amplified refit, with more than 90 new staterooms being added across multiple decks.
The 2016-built Oasis-class ship will emerge from drydock in May 2026 with 91 additional cabins, created by reconfiguring existing public spaces.
The most notable changes include the conversion of the ship’s conference centre on Deck 3 into 29 inside staterooms, while Decks 14 and 15 will see a mix of inside, balcony and ocean-view cabins added in place of sections of the Adventure Ocean kids’ club and part of the Solarium.
Further modifications include five new cabins on Deck 6, replacing part of the Vitality Café, and the replacement of the Wonderland specialty restaurant on Decks 14 and 15 with new staterooms. On Deck 17, two duplex suites will also be merged into a larger, single accommodation.
The project is part of Royal Caribbean’s wider Royal Amplified programme, which is modernising ships across its fleet with new attractions, dining venues, and updated designs.
For Harmony of the Seas, the refit will also introduce a refreshed Caribbean-inspired pool deck, an expanded Casino Royale, set to become the largest in the fleet, and new dining concepts, including the Samba Grill Brazilian steakhouse.
The popular Pesky Parrot Bar, first introduced on Utopia of the Seas in 2024, will replace the ship’s Bionic Bar on Deck 6.
“The Royal Amplified programme gives our guests the best of Royal Caribbean with new-to-class culinary options, entertainment and adventures,” said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer at Royal Caribbean. “After the success of the Allure of the Seas refit, we’re excited to bring three more amplifications to the fleet in 2026.”
Harmony of the Seas will enter drydock in Europe in April 2026 before resuming service in the Mediterranean.
From winter 2026, the ship will homeport in Port Canaveral, Florida, offering five- and seven-night Caribbean itineraries including calls at Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas and the upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, set to debut in December 2025.
