“Whether guests are drawn to the thrill of expedition travel or the allure of exploring hidden destinations, our 2027–2028 season offers life-expanding voyages for every kind of traveler,” said Mark Tamis, President of Seabourn.

Expedition voyages
From March 2027 to April 2028, expedition ships Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture will operate 49 departures on 28 itineraries ranging from eight to 94 days. These will cover 189 destinations in 39 countries.
“In the short time since we launched, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture have reshaped expedition travel with itineraries that explore remote and remarkable destinations,” said Robin West, Seabourn’s Vice President and General Manager of Expeditions.
“Expedition travel is about so much more than just sightseeing. With our expert expedition teams leading every exploration, our guests are gifted new perspectives on the natural wonders of the world and the people and the diverse cultures that make these places so special,” he added.
Antarctic sailings between October 2027 and March 2028 will include 19 departures of 10 to 25 days, with pre-cruise hotel stays in Buenos Aires and charter flights to Ushuaia. Voyages are spread across early, mid and late season, with activities ranging from Zodiac trips among icebergs to possible landings on the frozen sea.
In the Arctic, Seabourn Venture will make eight departures of 12 to 18 days between June and September 2027, including the line’s first Pole-to-Pole expedition. Two 18-day Northwest Passage voyages will also be operated from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.
Elsewhere, Seabourn Pursuit will sail in the Kimberley region of north-west Australia between May and August 2027, as well as throughout the South Pacific from April to September 2027, visiting Easter Island, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and other destinations.

The same ship will also operate four sailings in Canada and New England in October and November 2027, taking in 17 ports during the autumn foliage season.
In Japan, Seabourn Encore will operate three round-trip Tokyo voyages in October and November 2027. These 14-day itineraries will include overnights in Osaka, Kanazawa or Hakodate, and maiden calls at Shingu and Matsuyama.
