MSC Cruises will introduce five new bar and lounge concepts aboard MSC World Asia when the ship begins sailing in December 2026.
The new venues form part of more than 40 bars, lounges, cafés, and restaurants planned for the third ship in the cruise line’s World Class series.
MSC World Asia will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on 4 December 2026, calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina, and Valletta.

Among the additions is the Clubhouse and Soda Bar, a family-focused venue inspired by the 1980s and 1990s. Passengers will be able to create their own non-alcoholic sodas by combining a soda base with cream, flavoured syrups, and toppings.
The venue will also feature MSC Cruises-themed games and interactive digital tables, with access to a LEGO area and The Court, which offers bumper cars and other activities. In the evening, the space will operate as a social venue serving cocktails and mocktails.
A new Sky Box Bar will be located within the ship’s Luna Park Arena. Inspired by early 20th-century Futurism, its drinks menu will include contemporary interpretations of established cocktails, alongside premium spirits.
The venue will also incorporate mixology demonstrations and is designed to operate as both a pre-show and late-night bar.
The Terraces Bar & Lounge will draw on the Italian aperitivo tradition, serving drinks including Negroni and Aperol Spritz, as well as wines and prosecco. Food options will include focaccia and olives.
The venue will combine indoor and outdoor areas with sea views and live music. Wine tasting sessions featuring selected local varieties will also be offered.
Coral Cove Bar will be located within the Coral Cove Pool area and take its design inspiration from a Philippine coral reef. The poolside venue will serve a selection of classic drinks throughout the day.
A fifth new venue, the Pan Asian Bar, will overlook the ship’s Promenade and form part of the new Pan Asian Street Food restaurant.
The bar will serve cocktails influenced by Asian flavours, including Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris, and Matcha Coladas. Its drinks selection will also include beers from across Asia and a beer brewed at sea with what MSC describes as oriental notes.
The five venues are among 13 new or redesigned experiences that will distinguish MSC World Asia from MSC World Europa, the first ship in the World Class series.
Design elements throughout MSC World Asia will incorporate references to Asian culture, art, and landscapes, including within its bars and lounges.
Several existing MSC Cruises concepts will also return aboard the ship, including Coffee Emporium, Fizz – Champagne Bar, All-Stars Sports Bar, and Masters of the Sea, which produces beer onboard.
Following its December debut, MSC World Asia is scheduled to spend its initial season in the Mediterranean. MSC Cruises has also announced that the ship will move to the South Caribbean for the 2027-28 winter season, operating seven- and 14-night itineraries from Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, and Bridgetown.
