Azamara to retrofit Onward’s Atlas Bar experience across the fleet 

Azamara has announced that the Atlas Bar experience that debuted aboard Azamara Onward following her introduction into the fleet will be rolled out to the other three Azamara ships.

The Atlas Bar Experience will be added to the rest of the fleet from August 2022, according to a press release.

The Atlas Bar was added aboard Azamara Onward after she was purchased from Princess Cruises to become the fourth vessel in the Azamara fleet.

The bar features some of the specialty venue’s most well-liked destination-inspired libations, serving inventive handmade cocktails inspired by Azamara ships’ visits to a variety of interesting locales, which can be matched with an exotic premium menu of small meals served hot and cold.

“The response from our guests about Atlas Bar has been even more positive than we had anticipated,” said Scott Daniels, Assistant VP of hotel operations for Azamara.

“The designer created a beautiful space that really complements the cocktail and food menus that our food and beverage team worked so hard to perfect,” he added. “I couldn’t be prouder of the team’s work here, and we wanted to be able to offer the experience on our other ships, even if we didn’t have the same physical space.”

The offer will be available on the Azamara Journey, Azamara Pursuit, and Azamara Quest.

As an example, The Taste St. Tropez experience will be offered aboard Azamara Journey’s 7-night Med Springtime Voyage, Sip the Osaka Spice will be offered on Azamara Quest’s 12-night Hong Kong to Tokyo Voyage, and Have a glass of the Grand Bazaar will be available on Azamara Pursuit’s 12-night Black Sea Intensive Voyage.

Destination-inspired beverages and bar experiences will also be available aboard Azamara Journey during her 2022/23 cruise season from Cape Town this winter, as well as Azamara Journey’s one roundtrip cruise from Dubai in November this year, and her repositioning voyage the same month to Singapore.

Azamara will return to both Arabia and South Africa in 2024 as well, with Azamara Pursuit homeporting in Cape Town, and Azamara Onward sailing a three-week voyage in April from Dubai to Istanbul.
