Holland America Line has completed a series of upgrades at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, including a new Beach Club and food pavilion.
The enhancements will be available during the cruise line’s 2026/27 Caribbean season and come ahead of the private island destination’s 30th anniversary in 2027.
The new Beach Club will open to Holland America passengers in October as an additional-charge experience, with day passes due to go on sale in early October.
Guests booking the Beach Club will receive priority tendering between their ship and the island, dedicated waiter service, and all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Beach accessories and speciality food and beverage options will also be included with admission.
“Every enhancement at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is centred on creating an even more exceptional experience while building on everything guests already love about the island,” said Beth Bodensteiner, President, Holland America Line.
“It’s exciting to unveil the Beach Club as we prepare to welcome our first visitors in October. These improvements reflect our commitment to invest in the guest experience, offering even more unforgettable moments in one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful destinations,” she added.
The Beach Club has been designed with open-air spaces and natural materials, incorporating Holland America’s blue, orange, and cream colour palette.
Elsewhere on the island, a new food pavilion will serve a complimentary barbecue menu developed specifically for the destination.
Existing bars and dining venues are also being renovated as part of the wider programme of improvements.
Holland America has upgraded the destination’s cabanas and is adding more daybeds, beach chairs, and two-person canopy loungers.
Four pickleball courts, which were introduced during the previous season, are also among the recreational facilities now available.
The upgrades will feature on more than two dozen Holland America Caribbean itineraries as the cruise line begins a year-long programme leading up to the destination’s 30th anniversary.
RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay has been used by Holland America Line for nearly three decades and remains a regular call on the company’s Caribbean itineraries.
The latest work follows the adoption of the RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay name and represents a broader refresh of the destination’s dining, beach, and recreational facilities.
Holland America’s 2026 holiday programme will include Caribbean itineraries ranging from seven-day cruises to longer voyages, with some sailings combining island calls with a Panama Canal itinerary.
The destination’s new Beach Club is scheduled to receive its first Holland America guests in October.
