TUI Cruises to debut expanded dining and bar concepts aboard Mein Schiff Flow

TUI Cruises has unveiled the culinary programme aboard Mein Schiff Flow, introducing 14 restaurants and bistros alongside 17 bars and lounges as the cruise line continues to expand its InTUItion-class experience.

The vessel, christened in Trieste on June 20th, is currently sailing its inaugural Mediterranean season as the second ship in the InTUItion class.

At the centre of the onboard dining offering is FUGU by Tim Raue, a new speciality restaurant combining Singaporean cuisine with an immersive digital storytelling concept.

The Michelin-starred chef has created a five-course menu paired with wines, accompanied by digital presentations designed to enhance the dining experience.

“I’m fascinated by Singaporean cuisine because it combines different cultures and influences,” said Tim Raue. “We wanted to bring precisely this diversity to life at FUGU. Together with the digital presentation, this creates a restaurant concept that goes far beyond a classic dinner.”

The restaurant headlines several new dining concepts introduced for the InTUItion class.

Among them are the French-inspired Sur Mer Bistrot and the Greek restaurant Taverna Dionysos, which join established Mein Schiff venues including Atlantik Restaurant, Harbour Market, and Osteria – Pasta e Pizza.

Additional speciality dining options include the Scandinavian-inspired Høfde, serving fish and meat dishes, and Chalet – Restaurant & Bar, featuring modern Alpine cuisine.

Guests can also enjoy sushi and signature dishes created by Raue at the Street Art Bar.

Beyond its restaurants, Mein Schiff Flow offers 17 bars and lounges, each with its own distinct concept, ranging from speciality coffees at the Barista Bar to cocktails overlooking the sea in the Captain’s Bar.

Suite guests have access to a series of exclusive venues, including the X-Lounge, X-Bar, X-Coast, and the new X-View.

While reserved for Junior Suite and Suite guests during the day, X-View transforms into a speciality restaurant open to all guests in the evening.

TUI Cruises has also expanded its premium beverage offering with the introduction of two exclusive Mandois champagne cuvées.

Mandois Blanc and Mandois Rosé are now served in the X areas, marking the first time the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises house champagne has been offered aboard a TUI Cruises vessel.

“We are continuously developing our culinary offerings and want to offer our guests new moments of enjoyment,” said Markus Zschiesche, Head of Food & Beverage, TUI Cruises. “With Mandois, we are expanding our champagne selection with two special cuvées that perfectly complement our culinary concept in the X-areas.”

The new culinary concepts form part of TUI Cruises’ continued investment in differentiated onboard experiences as the line expands its InTUItion-class fleet.

By combining destination-inspired restaurants, chef-led collaborations, immersive dining concepts and an expanded premium beverage programme, Mein Schiff Flow builds on the cruise line’s strategy of offering a broader range of included and speciality dining experiences for guests sailing in the Mediterranean.
