AROYA Cruises has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Al Nassr FC for the 2026/27 season, extending a partnership that links Saudi Arabia’s first cruise line with one of the Kingdom’s most recognisable football clubs.
Under the renewed agreement, AROYA Cruises will continue to feature on Al Nassr FC’s official playing kit throughout the season while the two organisations develop a new programme of fan experiences, marketing campaigns, and digital content aimed at audiences in Saudi Arabia and international markets.
The partnership, which began in 2023, forms part of AROYA Cruises’ broader strategy to raise awareness of its brand by aligning with major sporting and entertainment properties as it expands its presence in regional and international cruise markets.
“Renewing our sponsorship agreement with Al Nassr FC for another season reflects the strength of a relationship that has continued to grow,” said Taha Nazer, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Cruise Saudi. “Since 2023, the sponsorship has created a strong connection between the passion of football, and the Remarkably Arabian experiences AROYA Cruises offers at sea.
“Through this renewal, we will continue to build on that reach, introduce more audiences to AROYA Cruises and support the continued growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism, sport and entertainment sectors in line with Vision 2030.”
Jose Semedo, Chief Executive Officer of Al Nassr FC, said the renewal demonstrated the club’s growing value as a platform for Saudi brands seeking international exposure.
“The renewal of our partnership with AROYA Cruises reflects the confidence that leading Saudi brands continue to place in Al Nassr and in the value our club creates both on and off the pitch,” he said. “As our global community continues to grow, Al Nassr has become one of the Kingdom’s most powerful platforms for connecting Saudi brands with millions of fans around the world.”
“We are proud to continue this partnership with AROYA Cruises as we work together to showcase the ambition, excellence and hospitality of Saudi Arabia to international audiences,” he added.
Since launching in December 2024, AROYA Cruises has positioned itself as the Kingdom’s flagship cruise brand, operating seasonal itineraries across the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, and Mediterranean.
The cruise line has increasingly used high-profile sporting partnerships to build brand recognition. Alongside its sponsorship of Al Nassr FC, AROYA recently launched the Yalla AROYA Cruises campaign featuring footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez, introducing the cruise experience to audiences in Saudi Arabia and overseas.
The renewed agreement also reflects Cruise Saudi’s wider objective of supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by connecting tourism with the Kingdom’s rapidly growing sports and entertainment sectors.
