Oceania Cruises has released its holiday deployment programme for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, with sailings spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australasia.

The programme includes voyages ranging from one week to nearly 40 days, deployed across much of the fleet, including newer vessels such as Oceania Allura and upcoming newbuilds Oceania Sonata and Oceania Aurelia, both scheduled to enter service in 2027.

The itineraries are designed around destination-focused travel during the holiday period, with a mix of Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asian, and South American routes. Several sailings include overnight stays in ports such as Barcelona, Bali, and Singapore, alongside scenic cruising elements including the Panama Canal and New Zealand’s Milford Sound.

“Our holiday voyages are designed to combine the traditions of the festive season with the excitement of global exploration,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer, Oceania Cruises.

“Whether guests are toasting the New Year in a vibrant city or spending Christmas Day in a remote tropical paradise, these sailings offer a rare opportunity to celebrate in extraordinary surroundings,” he said.

The programme reflects a broader trend among premium and luxury cruise operators towards extending seasonal itineraries beyond traditional markets, with increased emphasis on longer voyages and immersive port experiences.

Onboard, the sailings will incorporate seasonal programming, including live music, themed cuisine, and holiday events, alongside enrichment activities such as culinary classes and chef-led shore excursions linked to local food cultures.

The deployment also highlights the role of new capacity in shaping itinerary planning, with Oceania Sonata and Oceania Aurelia expected to support expanded global coverage following their introduction to the fleet.

The 2026/27 programme will include voyages across the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Australia, and South America, while the 2027/28 season introduces additional itineraries across the Mediterranean, transatlantic routes, and Asia-Pacific regions.

The expansion of holiday sailings comes as cruise lines continue to target peak seasonal demand with longer and more destination-intensive itineraries, particularly among repeat cruise passengers seeking alternative ways to travel during the festive period.
