Margaritaville at Sea expands bars and lounges programme aboard Beachcomber

Margaritaville at Sea has announced details of an expanded bars and lounges programme aboard Beachcomber, with a range of new and returning venues across the ship.

The cruise line’s newest vessel, the former Costa Fortuna, is scheduled to enter service from PortMiami in early 2027 following an extensive refit and refurbishment.

“The bars aboard Beachcomber are designed to be social and approachable,” said Eric Neuwirth, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Margaritaville at Sea. “Each venue has its own identity, while maintaining a consistent level of hospitality that encourages guests to linger, connect, and return.”

Same Boat

Beachcomber will feature a collection of bars and lounges with distinct beverage programmes and atmospheres, designed to support different social settings throughout the day and evening.

The lineup includes intimate cocktail venues, live music spaces, sports bars, poolside concepts, and alcohol-free options, alongside several established Margaritaville at Sea venues.

Returning bars confirmed for Beachcomber include Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits, License to Chill Bar, and the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar. These will be joined by a series of new concepts intended to broaden the ship’s nightlife and informal gathering spaces.

One of the new additions is Cowboy in the Jungle, a small-capacity speakeasy-style venue described by the company as its most intimate cocktail space onboard.

The bar will focus on rum- and agave-based spirits, with drinks influenced by South American traditions and techniques. The venue will operate on a first-come, first-served basis and will accommodate only a limited number of guests at a time.

Poolside options will include Daiquiri Shack, which will serve frozen drinks, including rotating blends and custom offerings. The menu will be refreshed regularly.

Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits

Another new venue, Polynesian Lounge, will combine tiki-inspired design with live music and scheduled entertainment. The space will host performances and activities throughout the day and evening, supported by a cocktail menu that blends contemporary and classic styles.

Beachcomber will also feature LandShark Sports Bar, offering sports viewing across multiple screens, alongside draft beers and bar snacks.

Flip Flop Bar, located below the ship’s shopping promenade, is intended to function as a central social space, with music and live entertainment programming throughout the day.

In addition to alcohol-focused venues, Beachcomber will introduce Lah De Dah Juice Bar, an all-ages venue located between the Teen Club and the spa. The space will serve juices, smoothies, and mocktails, positioned as a refreshment option before or after workouts, spa treatments, or family activities.

The Front Yard

Other new spaces include The Front Yard, an outdoor aperitif lounge offering a spritz-focused drinks menu, and Floridays, a combined restaurant and lounge serving shareable dishes and cocktails inspired by coastal Florida cuisine.

The ship’s evening entertainment programme will also be anchored by Same Boat, a live music venue developed in partnership with Zac Brown, focusing on live performances alongside a dedicated bar, positioning it as a focal point for nightlife onboard.

Beachcomber’s specialty dining venues will also incorporate tailored beverage pairings, extending the bar programme into restaurant settings with coordinated wine, cocktail, and spirits offerings across the ship.
