Margaritaville at Sea has revealed new spa, fitness, and lifestyle venues that will debut aboard its upcoming vessel, Beachcomber, when the ship enters service in 2027.
The additions form part of what the company describes as its largest wellness offering to date, centred around a redesigned spa complex, an expanded fitness centre, and a larger tattoo studio.
Beachcomber is scheduled to operate four- to eight-night Caribbean cruises from Miami beginning in 2027, representing the latest phase of fleet growth for the cruise line.
“Beachcomber is helping bring the next evolution of Margaritaville at Sea to life across every part of the guest journey, with wellness playing a central role,” said Martha Brabham, Vice President of Design, Margaritaville at Sea.
“From the spa and salon to the fitness and tattoo studios, these venues are designed to feel welcoming, comfortable and connected to the energy of being at sea,” she said.
The centrepiece of the wellness programme will be the new St. Somewhere Spa & Salon, which expands on the brand’s existing spa concept with additional treatment rooms, relaxation areas and ocean-facing spaces.
According to the company, treatment rooms have been positioned to maximise sea views, while the menu will include both returning signature treatments and new services created specifically for Beachcomber.
The vessel will also feature the largest Fins Up! Fitness Center in the fleet. The facility will offer a full range of exercise equipment, alongside dedicated yoga and fitness studios intended for guided classes, stretching, and low-impact workouts.
Natural light and ocean views have been incorporated throughout the design, reflecting a wider trend among cruise operators towards integrating wellness spaces more closely with the ship’s surroundings.
Another notable addition is the return of the Permanent Reminder Tattoo Studio, which will occupy a larger space than on existing ships. The venue has become one of the line’s more distinctive onboard attractions, allowing guests to commission custom tattoos during their voyage.
The studio will be located adjacent to a new Polynesian-themed lounge and will feature an expanded roster of tattoo artists.
The announcement follows a series of reveals for Beachcomber as the cruise line gradually unveils details of the vessel ahead of its launch. Earlier plans included new entertainment venues, themed public spaces, and the introduction of Heroes Hall, a dedicated venue honouring military personnel, first responders, nurses and educators.
Once in service, Beachcomber will operate itineraries to destinations across the Eastern and Southern Caribbean from its homeport in Miami.
