TUI Cruises has outlined a series of design and hospitality concepts that will define the guest experience aboard its upcoming vessel Mein Schiff Flow, as the cruise line prepares for her first operational season cruising roundtrip from Dubai in the Middle East.
Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, Mein Schiff Flow, the second ship in the company’s new InTUItion class, follows the recent delivery of sister ship Mein Schiff Relax and continues the design philosophy underpinning the new class.
According to TUI Cruises, the objective of the InTUItion programme is not centred on individual headline-grabbing features, but on creating an onboard environment structured around space, light, proximity to the sea, and what the company describes as “an intuitive sense of well-being on board”.
A central element of this approach is the vessel’s suite programme, which TUI Cruises has positioned as a foundational component of the overall concept rather than a standalone premium zone.
The ship will offer five suite categories, ranging from Junior Suites to the Grand Freedom Suites, with design language that emphasises spaciousness, brightness, and a colour palette inspired by marine environments, incorporating green, blue, and turquoise tones.
Among the most distinctive accommodations are the two Grand Freedom Suites.
Each spans approximately 88 square metres across two decks and includes private verandas, separate sleeping areas, two bathrooms, and a private infrared sauna. Large panoramic windows are integrated throughout the suites, reinforcing the emphasis on open sightlines and visual connection with the sea, a defining principle of the InTUItion-class concept.
The suite product is complemented by a network of dedicated spaces reserved for suite guests. On Deck 16, a newly designed suite sun deck includes a whirlpool, sun loungers, lounge seating, and a shallow pool area intended to provide a calm, uncluttered outdoor environment.
The space has been configured to prioritise low-density usage and visual openness, aligning with the broader design direction of the new class.
Culinary facilities form another core pillar of the suite experience. Suite guests will have access to two dedicated dining venues: X-Coast on Deck 6 and the X-View Restaurant on Deck 16.
X-Coast, accessible via the X-Lounge on Deck 7, is designed in a beach club style and remains open throughout the day, while X-View offers both indoor and outdoor seating and features an expansive glazed frontage with uninterrupted ocean views. In the evening, the venue transitions to a Mediterranean dining concept curated by Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser.
Beyond the physical spaces, TUI Cruises has introduced a digital preview programme allowing guests to explore Mein Schiff Flow’s suite areas before sailing. Through personalised 3D tours, passengers can virtually navigate the accommodations and exclusive areas, guided by an AI avatar that provides spatial orientation and visual context intended to replicate the onboard environment as closely as possible.
