TUI Cruises mega ship Mein Schiff 6 will join sister ship Mein Schiff 5 in Dubai in 2019

While Mein Schiff 5 of TUI Cruises sails her Middle East cruise season out of Dubai for the 2018/2019 season, she’ll be joined briefly by sister ship Mein Schiff 6 for a single Dubai cruise departure in November.

Both ships will be alongside at the Dubai Cruise Terminal on November 12, 2019.

Mein Schiff 5 will be operating a roundtrip Dubai cruise as part of her winter season in the Arabian Gulf, while Mein Schiff 6 will be cruising from Dubai to Singapore, where she will spend the winter cruising roundtrip from Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mein Schiff 6’s cruise from Dubai to Singapore will follow the traditional route taken by cruise ships on this popular itinerary between East and West.

Over the course of 15 nights she will visit Khasab and Muscat in Oman, as well as Mumbai in India and Colombo in Sri Lanka, before making a port call in Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia ahead of her arrival in Singapore.

The itinerary is a little more port lean than most Dubai to Singapore cruises because Mein Schiff 6 will spend the first night of the cruise overnighting in Dubai, as well as the final night in Singapore.

TUI Cruises is a German cruise line, catering almost exclusively to its home market. The vast majority of its passengers are therefore German-speaking, but English guests are catered for with menu items and daily programs in their own language.

The cruise ship was delivered in 2017 and on-board features a relaxed atmosphere – similar to an upscale club hotel.

At 295-metres and accommodating more than 2,500 passengers, Mein Schiff 6 is a large ship with several dozen dining and entertainment options. Almost all food, beverages and gratuities are already included in the cruise price, which distinguishes TUI Cruises from other cruise lines.

Excluded from the premium all-inclusive concept aboard Mein Schiff 6 are the Surf & Turf Steakhouse, Schmankerl  Entspannt genieBen, Hanami by Tim Raue, Cafe Bar, Champagner Treff and Diamant Bar.

Shore excursions at the various ports of call and offers by the shops on board and spa treatments are also not included in the cruise price.
