Regent Seven Seas Cruises centres Cape Town in wider 2026/27 programme

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed a 25-night transcontinental cruise to Cape Town, and a 30-night Cape Town to Singapore voyage as part of its newly announced 2026/27 voyage programme for Seven Seas Navigator.

The itineraries position South Africa as a key destination within Regent’s broader Navigate the Seasons collection, which spans 32 itineraries across multiple regions.

The Lisbon-to-Cape Town sailing departs on February 12th, 2027, sailing the Atlantic coast of Africa. After calling at Madeira and the Canary Islands, Seven Seas Navigator will continue south with visits to Cape Verde, Senegal, The Gambia, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and São Tomé and Príncipe.

An overnight stay in Walvis Bay, Namibia, precedes the ship’s arrival in Cape Town, bringing the voyage to a close beneath Table Mountain.

Seven Seas Navigator’s subsequent 30-night voyage to Singapore departs Cape Town on March 9th, 2027, calling in Port Elizabeth before spending several days at sea en route to Maputo, Mozambique.

The cruise then continues through the Mozambique Channel with calls including Nosy Be in Madagascar, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and Mahé in the Seychelles, among others.

The South African cruises are among the longest itineraries in the 2026/27 programme and follow Seven Seas Navigator’s scheduled dry dock in Genoa in late 2026.

The ship will commence a new season of global sailings after her refit that begin with Regent’s first full winter deployment in the Mediterranean before transitioning into longer intercontinental voyages.

Cape Town, South Africa

“The launch of this new season marks an exciting evolution for Seven Seas Navigator and for Regent,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “As the leading ultra-luxury cruise line, we are dedicated to curating an exceptional, unforgettable experience for our guests across the fleet.”

“From quieter winters in the Mediterranean’s most beloved destinations, to adventures in Asia-Pacific and rare overnight stays in iconic ports of call, this extraordinary collection of voyages reflects our continued commitment to delivering immersive and effortlessly luxurious travel experiences,” he said.

Seven Seas Navigator will spend the early part of the 2026/27 season operating European itineraries before repositioning south for the African voyage.

Regent has positioned the Lisbon-to-Cape Town cruise as a destination-intensive sailing, combining island calls, West African ports and extended time ashore through overnight stays. The itinerary reflects a continued interest among luxury cruise lines in slower-paced, long-distance voyages that link Europe and southern Africa.

Beyond Africa, Seven Seas Navigator will continue east, operating itineraries across Asia, Australia and the South Pacific.

Seven Seas Navigator accommodates 496 guests across 244 all-suite accommodations and carries a crew of 365. The ship is designed for extended voyages, with multiple lounges, dining venues, and public spaces configured to support longer time at sea.
