While MSC Musica of MSC Cruises was enroute back to Durban from her historic cruise to the Antarctic Ocean at the time of writing, she will soon be setting off on another usual voyage with the Mi Casa Friendship musical festival cruise out of Cape Town.
MSC Musica will depart Cape Town on March 27th for the three-night cruise into the Atlantic Ocean, with a festive itinerary on offer that includes activities, themed parties and gourmet dining opportunities along with live performances by celebrated local musicians and DJs.
“This three-night cruise celebrates music, friendship, family, and food, featuring a lineup of South Africa’s finest artists and entertainers, alongside a wealth of activities for all ages,” says MSC Cruises South Africa. “Onboard MSC Musica, indulge in modern luxuries, gourmet dining, and a range of entertainment options from lively discos to serene spas.”
“Designed for individuals, couples, and families alike, this cruise offers the perfect blend of joy, connection, and relaxation, all set against the mesmerizing backdrop of the high seas,” the cruise line adds.
The line up for the cruise includes the multi-award-winning Mi Casa and friends—Roger Goode, Kid Fonque, DJ Loyd, Sir Vincent, Da Capo, Jay EM, Kyle Worde, Ten Oceans, the legendary DJ Fresh, and Euphonik.
Known for their blend of house, jazz, kizomba, funk, pop, and soul, the Mi Casa trio – Dr Duda, J’Something, and Mo-T released their latest album, “THR3E”, late last year to celebrate their 13-year journey of friendship and creativity.
Siv Ngesi will join acclaimed comedian Mpho Popps as official MC, guiding guests through the weekend’s cruise festivities.
“The Mi Casa Friendship Cruise Experience is more than just a cruise, it’s a celebration of shared experiences and glorious cultural diversity within our colourful rainbow nation,” says Mi Casa member JSomething.
“The team are thrilled to have curated this unique opportunity for our fans, friends and family from not just South Africa but all over the world. We hope to bring everyone together to create lifelong memories with great food, entertainment and reconnection.”
MSC Musica is currently sailing her annual homeporting cruise season in South Africa, offering roundtrip cruises out of Durban and Cape Town, visiting ports in Mozambique and Namibia. The Mi Casa Friendship Cruise is one of several themed voyages operated by MSC Musica during the season, including the Krone Cruise, Voelgoed #Girls Bootreis, Super Sokkie Cruise, Bhangra Boat, Bok Boot, Jazz Cruise, and Oppiwater Kunstefees.
