Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed details about the new onboard experiences and expanded venues that will be featured aboard its upcoming ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna.
The first two ships in the Prima Plus Class, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna are set to launch in April 2025 and 2026, respectively, introducing several unique features, including new gaming zones, redesigned wellness areas, and expanded sports and entertainment venues.
One of the key highlights of both Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna is the introduction of the Aqua Game Zone and Luna Game Zone.

This venue is an evolution of Norwegian Cruise Line’s popular Galaxy Pavilion and arcade areas, providing a range of interactive experiences, including virtual reality games such as Space Racing and Beat Hero, where guests engage in a dance rhythm game using dual swords.
In addition to VR, the venue will also feature retro arcade games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, offering a nostalgic experience for all ages.
The ships will also feature expanded and redesigned recreational spaces. The Bull’s Eye Bar will introduce a complimentary interactive dart game area, now paired with a full-service bar.

This venue combines traditional dart games with modern technology, offering a variety of gameplay levels and automated scoring displayed on large screens while guests enjoy handcrafted cocktails.
Tee Time, another returning feature from the Prima class, will offer an enhanced mini-golf experience with a redesigned course themed around the Wonders of the World. Spanning 12 holes across two decks, it will be two and a half times larger than its predecessor on Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.

Additionally, due to guest feedback, the ships will feature a dedicated pickleball court, separate from the sports stadium area.
Wellness and fitness areas on both ships will also see significant updates. The Mandara Spa and Salon, along with the Pulse Fitness Center, will be redesigned to provide a serene and modern environment.
The spa will maintain its signature two-story indoor waterfall, but will introduce new features like a clay sauna, thalassotherapy loungers, and IV drip therapy. These services aim to offer guests a broader range of health and relaxation options.
The Thermal Suite, a popular area within the spa, will now include twice as many heated loungers compared to earlier Prima class vessels, allowing more guests to enjoy ocean views while relaxing.
The Pulse Fitness Center will also be updated with state-of-the-art equipment and offer new classes, including yoga, pilates, and cycling.

Norwegian Aqua will enter service in April, 2025 sailing roundtrip 7-day Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida, visiting destinations such as Puerto Plata, Tortola, St. Thomas, and Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
After its Caribbean season, Norwegian Aqua will operate voyages to Bermuda from New York City in late 2025 before returning to the Caribbean with departures from Miami.Norwegian Luna will follow a similar itinerary, launching in April 2026 with Caribbean voyages from Miami, visiting Roatan Island, Costa Maya, and Harvest Caye, before it begins 7-day cruises to Puerto Plata, Tortola, and other Eastern Caribbean destinations.
