Disney Cruise Line releases inaugural Caribbean itineraries for new Disney Destiny

Disney Cruise Line has revealed a range of short four-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean aboard its new ship Disney Destiny for 2025.

Due for delivery in November next year, Disney Destiny will join Disney Wish and Disney Treasure as the third vessel in the Wish class of vessels, the largest to date for the cruise line, but soon to be ecplipsed by Disney Adventure.

Disney Destiny’s four-day Caribbean cruises will depart from Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades during its maiden season, which starts November 20th, 2025 until May, 2026.

These cruises will spend a day at sea, with visits to both of Disney Cruise Line’s private island destinations in the Bahamas: Castaway Cay and the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Some cruises will also call at Nassau in the Bahamas, and a range of 5 to 10-day voyages are also available for booking, visiting Castaway Cay and Cozumel in Mexico.

Disney Destiny is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Themed after Disney’s heroes and villains, the vessel will debut a range of new themed experiences onboard.

Highlights include a piano lounge inspired by Cruella de Vil from the One Hundred and One Dalmatians movie and a pub inspired by the world of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

De Vil’s piano lounge features a Hollywood Regency design with Cruella’s signature red, black and white color palette. Guests can enjoy martinis, chic cocktails and wines while enjoying piano tunes.

Cask and Cannon will be decorated with treasures “acquired” by pirates. Guests can watch live sports and enjoy a menu of rare, specialty, and vintage rums, as well as exclusive brews served straight from the barrel.

Also aboard Disney Destiny, the tower suite that debuted aboard her sister ships will be themed in honour of Iron Man, while a range of Marvel characters will inspire themed venues and entertainment on the ship, such as the Grand Hall inspired by Black Panther, and an entertainment parlor themed around Doctor Strange.

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King is a savanna-themed venue that features live musicians and storytellers performing favorites like “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata” as well as a themed menu.

At Edna Á La Mode Sweets, inspired by “The Incredibles,” guests will find a unique confectionary featuring handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats.
