Princess Cruises opens sales for epic 2025 World Cruise via Middle East

Princess Cruises has opened sales for its longest World Cruise yet, a 116 day voyage, visiting 51 destinations on six continents, including 7 ports in the Middle East, and the option of cruising from Dubai.

The cruise aboard Island Princess departs Fort Lauderdale on January 5th, 2025 (or Los Angeles on January 20th), with prices for the cruise starting at $19,999 per person sharing an inside cabin.

In addition to the Middle East, Island Princess will also visit the Mediterranean, Central America, Africa, Asia and Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

In total, passengers will experience 51 ports in 26 countries over the course of the 33,500 nautical milevoyage.

The port call in Dubai on March 13th will be an overnight stop, while there will also be 11 ‘More Ashore’ late-night calls in Sydney, Australia; Aqaba, Jordan; Cartagena, Colombia; and Genoa, Italy.

There are a total of 27 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including a stop in Alexandria, Egypt wherepassengers can visit the Great Pyramids of Giza. Other UNESCO sites include the 164-year-old Singapore Botanical Gardens, Old City of Dubrovnik in Croatia, and the Ancient Greek City of Ephesus in Turkey.

“We’re highly regarded for our World Cruises and our 2025 voyage promises to be one for the ages as our longest adventure ever offered,” said John Padgett, President, Princess Cruises.

“Our expert itinerary planners have assembled an unmatched combination of popular ports and off-the-beaten-path locales for a global journey not found anywhere else,” he added.

While the full World Cruise is 116 days, guests can shorten their cruise to 51 to 66 days if they are unable to make the entirety of the trip.

Dubai

Passengers who choose the shorter voyage can depart from Fort Lauderdale or Los Angeles to Dubai, or from Dubai to either Fort Lauderdale or LA.

After departing Dubai on March 13th, Island Princess will visit Muscat and Salalah in Oman, and Aqaba in Jordan, before transiting the Suez Canal to call in Alexandria in Egypt.

Guests booking the entire 116-day roundtrip voyage or the 101-day Los Angeles-to-Fort Lauderdale option will receive $500 per guest for onboard spending or shore excursions, and four specialty dining opportunities.

Princess Cruises’s credit card members will save up to $1,000 per guest for the first two guests in the stateroom, and guests who book by May 31st, 2023, will receive an additional 5% future cruise credit on their cruise fare.
