New Oceania Cruises ship Vista breaks booking record as itineraries go on sale

Oceania Cruises new ship Vista has set an all-time single day booking record with the opening for sale of her inaugural April, 2023 itineraries.

Vista’s 18 debut cruise itineraries opened for booking on September 15th and sold out on the same day, 60% faster than Oceania’s previous booking record.

The most recent booking record was set when Oceania Cruises announced its return to service plans and opened cruise bookings across its fleet of six ships in March 2021.

“The tremendous wave of bookings we saw on the day we opened sales for Vista underscores the extraordinary demand for our acclaimed small ship, destination focused vacations,” said Bob Binder, President & CEO, Oceania Cruises.

Vista will sail a total of 18 voyages from April, 2023 through November, 2023. Itineraries range from 10- to 24-days in length with fares from US $5,299 per guest to US $32,199 per guest.

“We are seeing exceptional demand from both our loyal Oceania Club repeaters and new-to-brand guests who are attracted to Vista’s new restaurants and culinary concepts, residentially styled staterooms and suites, and unique itineraries that present the destinations from a new perspective,” added Binder.

All of the bookings for 2023 are new cash bookings with absolutely no dilution from Future Cruise Credits issued for cancelled cruises in 2020 or 2021, according to the cruise line.

Virtually all of the top-tier Owner’s, Oceania, and Vista suites along with the newly introduced solo concierge veranda staterooms sold out first.

Nearly half of the available inventory of Vista’s inaugural season was sold in one day with 30% of all bookings coming from new to brand guests.

According to Oceania, the most in-demand destinations were the British Isles and Canada, the Mediterranean, Holy Lands, and Panama Canal.

The first of two all-new Allura-class cruise ships for Oceania Cruises, Vista, will feature signature lounges, bars, and wellness facilities and a range of new-to-the-line amenities.

Public rooms that have become synonymous with Oceania Cruises will return aboard Vista, such as the Grand Staircase in the social heart of the ship, along with a redesigned Martini Bar and a Grand Lounge that evokes the feeling of a private club.

Vista’s casino will be even more elegant than those found on other ships in the fleet, with art nouveau-inspired touches, while the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center offers a host of tranquil treatment areas, state-of-the-art workout and personal training spaces as well as a spacious new salon and barbershop.

On the upper decks, Horizons Lounge, the ship’s de facto observation lounge, will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping 180-degree views, with Afternoon Tea served here, along with live music later in the evening.

The huge pool area will feature modern beach-club cabanas and a variety of textures and soothing natural tones that come together in a natural oasis to reconnect with nature.

The ship will also feature three Owner’s Suites designed by Ralph Lauren home, and some of the largest cabins in the fleet, with Veranda Staterooms, Penthouse Suites, Oceania Suites and Vista Suites.
