Princess Cruises has announced that its new ship Enchanted Princess has completed her sea trials, ahead of an expected delivery later this year.
The fifth cruise ship in the line’s Royal-class, Enchanted Princess was put through a series of test manoeuvres to make sure all her navigation and machinery systems were working as planned.

All technical systems aboard the ship were also tested. She is now back at the Fincantieri shipyard for further fit out and finishing.
Enchanted Princess will join Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess, and Sky Princess among the cruise line’s largest vessels.

Take 5 Jazz Lounge aboard Enchanted Princess
Enchanted Princess was meant to be delivered earlier this year, but those plans were delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy was forced to close due to the country’s efforts to halt the spread of COVID-19, preventing work on the ship.

Phantom Bridge escape room aboard Enchanted Princess
Enchanted Princess will introduce a number of new to the cruise line features, including the new production shows ‘5-SKIES’ and ‘Rock Opera’ and the world’s first digitally-enhanced escape room at sea.
The ship will also feature the French speciality restaurant ‘La Mer’, which first debuted aboard Royal-class Majestic Princess in 2017, along with a whole host of new dining concepts.

Enchanted Princess will offer standout features from its three other sister ships – Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess – including an Italian-inspired Piazza, dramatic over-the-ocean glass, Seawalk and Broadway-calibre shows performed in the Princess Theatre.
In addition to the more than 25 dining venues and bars including the World Fresh Marketplace, the ship will also feature new lounges such as jazz lounge Take Five, and the two ‘Sky Suites’, which have the largest balconies at sea centrally located on the top decks.

Sabatini’s aboard Enchanted Princess
Enchanted Princess will also offer new cruise concepts not found aboard her fellow Royal-class sisters, such as a re-imagined Salty Dog Gastropub.
The rustic pub space will be an exciting new venue where guests can watch sporting events, gather with friends over drinks and small bites, and partake in the award-winning Ernesto Burger, created by chef partner, Ernesto Uchimura, a founding chef of the original Umami Burger and owner of the new Los Angeles based neighborhood restaurant and bar, Electric Owl.
Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, Princess Cruises’ acclaimed specialty restaurant, will also be transformed.
Enchanted Princess will also feature a redesigned Sanctuary area, the spa-inspired top deck retreat reserved for adults.
