New dining concepts and at-sea attractions to debut aboard Enchanted Princess in 2020

Princess Cruises has revealed some of the new dining concepts and at-sea attractions that will debut aboard its new cruise ship Enchanted Princess in 2020.

Enchanted Princess will feature the Sky Suites that were introduced aboard sister ship Sky Princess, as well as a Wakeview pool on its aft decks and relaxing Sanctuary area offering a new contemporary design with more private cabanas than ever before.

The Sky Suites are the largest suites in the Princess Cruises’ fleet.

However, Enchanted Princess will also offer new cruise concepts not found aboard her fellow Royal-class sisters, such as a re-imagined Salty Dog Gastropub.

The rustic pub space will be an exciting new venue where guests can watch sporting events, gather with friends over drinks and small bites, and partake in the award-winning Ernesto Burger, created by chef partner, Ernesto Uchimura, a founding chef of the original Umami Burger and owner of the new Los Angeles based neighborhood restaurant and bar, Electric Owl.

Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, Princess Cruises’ acclaimed specialty restaurant, will also be transformed.

The space will blend classic Italian accents with the spaciousness of a modern, contemporary setting featuring unique handmade pasta courses developed in collaboration with Los Angeles chef Angelo Auriana that will be prepared fresh daily.

The Princess Live! and Café will have a new art deco-style décor where guests can enjoy their favourite drinks and small bites while watching live performances or enjoying an intimate gathering.

“With our new Sky Suites and enhanced dining and relaxation features on Enchanted Princess, we are continuing our commitment to offer new and expansive passenger spaces that meet the needs of our guests who wish to explore the world and connect with each other,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president.

Enchanted Princess will debut in June 2020. At 143,700-gross tons and with a passenger capacity for 3,660, she will be one of the largest cruise ships ever to be named in Southampton. She will also be the first Princess Cruises ship to be named in the UK since Royal Princess in 2013.

After its naming ceremony, Enchanted Princess will head to the Mediterranean for summer 2020. The ship will offer sailings ranging between seven and 22 days from Barcelona, Athens and Rome. The cruises go on sale on Thursday, November 8 at 5pm.

Meanwhile, bookings for 2020 voyages to southern and northern Europe that depart from Southampton, on the UK-based ships Crown Princess and Island Princess, can be made from Thursday, November 8 at 9am.
