Royal Caribbean may add new Spa Staterooms aboard Jewel of the Seas ahead of 2021 Dubai season

Royal Caribbean will be introducing new Spa Staterooms aboard all the ships in its Radiance, Voyager, Freedom, Oasis, Quantum and Quantum Ultra classes, which includes the Radiance-class Jewel of the Seas, homeporting annually in Dubai for the 2019/2020 and 2020/21 seasons.

The new staterooms will open for booking this month, according to Royal Caribbean, but the cruise line hasn’t confirmed when exactly they will be rolled out aboard each ship, beyond saying that they will be available for the 2021/22 deployments.

That means the new staterooms might be available aboard Jewel of the Seas when she cruises roundtrip from Dubai during the 2020/21 cruise season, but its unlikely. Royal Caribbean is more likely to have the new stateroom category installed during a refit after her Dubai deployment.

According to Royal Caribbean Blog this will done in May, 2021, but that hasn’t been confirmed by Royal Caribbean itself.

It’s not known yet where Jewel of the Seas will sail after she leaves the Arabian Gulf in March, 2021.

Amenities for the new staterooms (they’re not suites, but come with a host of suite-like benefits) include priority spa reservations, 50 percent off one spa treatment per stateroom, daily coffee/tea delivery, bluetooth speaker and calming in-room amenities like lush bedding and luxurious bathroom amenities.
