We wrote a full report on the changes being made to the ship during the November refurbishment, but now Cruise Critic have revealed which public spaces will be shuffled to make room for the new venues.

Sabor, Cups & Scoops and the arcade are all being removed to make way for Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, and a portion of the teen spaces will be repurposed as part of Portside BBQ.

The teens’ club will get a dedicated outdoor space

The remaining teen space will be redesigned to include the addition of a dedicated outdoor space and the Sugar Beach candy shop will offer ice cream to replace Cups & Scoops.

The Diamond Lounge and the library will be replaced by additional cabins, with the Diamond Lounge relocated to the Comedy Club’s former location.

The Comedy Club will then merge with Blaze, and the library will be moved to Central Park (in place of the photo gallery), where it will be renamed the Central Park Library.

The photo gallery will be relocated to Boardwalk and, similar to the deck plan of Harmony of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas, photo services will be found on Deck 6 near the Shore Excursions desk.

Lastly, the current Michael Kors store will be replaced with a shop selling fine jewelry, and two new hot tubs will be added on Deck 16.

As reported earlier this year, Oasis will get an entirely new pool deck with a water park and three-story bar, and a trio of waterslides, in addition to new dining options like Poolside BBQ and Playmakers.

Oasis of the Seas will also get a karaoke venue and a redesigned Adventure Ocean kids club as part of its 63-day, US $165 million refurbishment.

“We’ve gone all-in with our biggest and boldest amplification yet. Oasis will turn heads when she arrives to Miami this November and the Northeast in May 2020,” says Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International.

The amplified Oasis of the Seas will set sail on November 24th, 2019, beginning 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Royal Caribbean’s new, state-of-the-art Terminal A in Miami.

In May 2020 she’ll reposition to New York and become the largest ship to sail from the city that once played host to the mightiest ocean liners on the trans-Atlantic service.

Oasis will homeport at Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, offering 7-night sailings to The Bahamas with visits to Royal Caribbean’s newly transformed private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
