With plenty of advance bookings for its inaugural return season in the Arabian Gulf, Royal Caribbean has announced that Jewel of the Seas will sail a second Dubai roundtrip cruise season in 2020/21.
Reservations are now open for the new cruise season, with Jewel of the Seas due to sail her first roundtrip cruise of the season from Dubai on December 12, 2020. Her final cruise of the season will be on March 22nd, 2021.

On all the cruises, Jewel of the Seas will stay overnight in port at the Dubai Cruise Terminal on either the first or last night of the cruise.
There is also one special one-off 9-night roundtrip cruise departing Dubai on December 12th, 2020 that visits all the destinations above, as well as the remote little tender port of Khassab.
Royal Caribbean calls this itinerary the Ultimate Arabian Coast cruise.
“Discover the best of the Middle East on an Arabian adventure from Dubai with 2020-21 sailings now open for reservations,” Royal Caribbean said in a release. “Choose from unique itineraries on-board Jewel of the Seas exploring the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and beyond.”

On either end of her 2020/21 Arabian Gulf cruise season Jewel of the Seas will also offer a 16-night repositioning cruise.
The first, departing November 26th, 2020, will be a voyage through the Suez Canal and Red Sea from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Dubai.
The second, departing Dubai on March 22nd, 2021, will be a grand repositioning voyage from the Arabian Gulf to Barcelona, Spain.
On both of these itineraries, the Jordanian port of Aqaba on the Red Sea, the ancient gateway to the ruins of Petra, will be a centrepiece shore excursion attraction.

This will be Jewel of the Seas’ second Arabian Gulf cruise season out of Dubai.
For the 2019/2020 winter season, the ship is cruising roundtrip from the city between November and March, marking Royal Caribbean’s first Middle East season since it sold Splendour and Vision of the Seas.

I would like to take possibly 2 cruises 🚢 on jewel of the seas … 16 night cruises out of Dubai. One in November 2019, and another in February or March 2020. These are cold months where I live, any information you can supply would be most helpful. Also I will be traveling solo. I’m a senior 76 with disabilities. Is there a doctor on board? I’ve had two strokes since 2012, and 2013 … is that a problem? Have not had any holiday for 20 years. Looking forward to it!
Hi, the cruises out of Dubai aboard Jewel of the Seas are one-week roundtrip itineraries, but for a longer 16-night cruise you can cruise aboard her from Dubai her repositioning cruises to or from the city at the start and end of the cruise season, which coincides with the dates you mentioned 🙂
