Full season itineraries and deck plans revealed for Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady

Virgin Voyages’ has released full cruise itinerary details for its inaugural season sailings on-board Scarlet Lady, and has also made the ship’s deck plans available for pouring over.

The inaugural season sailings on-board Scarlet Lady are currently only available for booking by those who previously made a US $500 deposit, but will go on sale to the general public on February 14th.

Virgin Voyages is building a dedicated cruise terminal in Miami for its Caribbean itineraries aboard Scarlet Lady.

The season begins in April, 2020 and runs through October 2020. It includes 18 four- and five-night “Havana After Dark” Caribbean itineraries sailing roundtrip from Miami.

Prices start at US $1,450 (excluding taxes and fees) for an inside cabin based on double occupancy, and include all specialty restaurants, unlimited Wi-Fi (you can pay an upcharge for streaming), basic beverages (soda, bottled water, drip coffee), group fitness classes at the gym, and gratuities.

The full cruise season is available for future cruise planning at Virgin Voyages website, while Scarlet Lady’s full deck plans can be accessed at the bottom of this article.

The deck plans show the locations of the various eateries, lounges, bars and cafes that have already been announced by Virgin Voyages.

These include the Aquatic Club pool area, spa, fitness centre, The Manor nightclub, The Dock outdoor retreat, the casino, atrium and Test Kitchen as well as some bars and restaurants.

Some new spaces were also revealed in the release of the deck plans, such as The Den (Deck 6), described as a “flex event space,” The Scene (Deck 15), labelled as an “exclusive event space” and the “sun worship sanctuary” Sun Club and adjacent Sun Club Cafe.

The locations of the ship’s various stateroom categories, which were also previously announced by Virgin Voyages, along with the RockStar Suites, are also revealed in the deck plans.

Virgin Voyages is the world’s newest mainstream cruise line, launched by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. It has already innovated the traditional cruise concept in a myriad of ways in the run-up to Scarlet Lady’s launch in 2020.

The cruise ship for a start will target the millennial market, but will be an adults-only ship. It will feature a tattoo parlour and blow-dry bar, hammocks on the stateroom balconies, Seabed sofas that converted into full-size double beds at night, and outdoor peak-a-boo showers overlooking the ocean.

In addition, it won’t carry any passengers or guests. Virgin Voyages refers to them instead as sailors.

“Virgin has always avoided stuffy formalities and brought a lot of excitement and a bit of rebelliousness to our customer experiences,” said Branson in a statement. “Virgin Voyages is bringing rock and roll to the high seas and spoiling our sailors like the rockstars they are.”
