The locations of the ship’s various stateroom categories, which were also previously announced by Virgin Voyages, along with the RockStar Suites, are also revealed in the deck plans.

Virgin Voyages is the world’s newest mainstream cruise line, launched by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. It has already innovated the traditional cruise concept in a myriad of ways in the run-up to Scarlet Lady’s launch in 2020.

The cruise ship for a start will target the millennial market, but will be an adults-only ship. It will feature a tattoo parlour and blow-dry bar, hammocks on the stateroom balconies, Seabed sofas that converted into full-size double beds at night, and outdoor peak-a-boo showers overlooking the ocean.

In addition, it won’t carry any passengers or guests. Virgin Voyages refers to them instead as sailors.

“Virgin has always avoided stuffy formalities and brought a lot of excitement and a bit of rebelliousness to our customer experiences,” said Branson in a statement. “Virgin Voyages is bringing rock and roll to the high seas and spoiling our sailors like the rockstars they are.”
