Cunard will include maiden calls in Durban and an overnight stay in Cape Town during Queen Victoria’s 2027 World Voyage.

The South African visits form part of a 109-night itinerary departing Southampton on 10 January 2027, with Queen Victoria also calling in Asia, Australia, the Americas, and other parts of Africa.

In Cape Town, the overnight stay will give passengers additional time to visit destinations in and around the city. Cunard’s shore programme will include trips to Table Mountain, with passengers able to travel by cable car for views across Cape Town and the surrounding coastline.

Other options will include visits to Groot Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine-producing estate, followed by excursions to Hout Bay. From there, passengers can take a coastal cruise to view Cape fur seals around Duiker Island.

Durban will be among Queen Victoria’s maiden calls during the voyage, alongside Dakar in Senegal and a call in El Salvador.

The South African programme forms part of more than 590 shore experiences Cunard is introducing across its two 2027 World Voyages aboard Queen Victoria and Queen Anne.

Beyond South Africa, Queen Victoria’s itinerary will include calls in Hong Kong and Sydney, as well as overnight stays in New York, Los Angeles, and Singapore.

In Hong Kong, shore excursions will range from city tours and Cantonese dining to sunset harbour cruises and visits to Lantau Island, Tian Tan Buddha, and Po Lin Monastery.

Sydney options will include an evening climb of Sydney Harbour Bridge, excursions to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, and visits to wineries in the Hunter Valley.

Cunard’s second 2027 extended voyage will see Queen Anne make its maiden visit to South America during a 90-night South America Discovery itinerary.

The ship will make 15 maiden calls across the continent and visit seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Argentina. Its schedule includes an overnight call in Rio de Janeiro timed to coincide with Rio Carnival.

Passengers will also be offered a four-day overland excursion to Machu Picchu, leaving Queen Anne in Arica and rejoining the ship in Callao. An overnight stay in Buenos Aires will provide time for excursions including tango performances, wine tastings, culinary tours, and hosted dinners with local residents.

Queen Anne and Queen Victoria are both scheduled to depart Southampton on January 10^th, 2027. Passengers can book the complete voyages or shorter sectors covering individual regions.
