Cunard Line has announced its 2027 entertainment programme across the fleet.
The line-up includes the return of four themed Event Voyages aboard Queen Mary 2 and the introduction of a new series of entertainment residencies across all four ships.
The programme has been developed in partnership with a number of cultural organisations and will feature theatre, ballet, classical music, and literature-focused sailings, alongside a new initiative bringing theatre companies and performers onboard selected voyages.

The four Event Voyages will once again take place aboard Queen Mary 2, the world’s only ocean liner, and are designed to provide passengers with access to performances, workshops, discussions, and behind-the-scenes insights led by artists and cultural figures.
Theatre at Sea with the Olivier Awards will return from October 20-27, 2027, during a Transatlantic Crossing. The voyage follows Cunard’s continued partnership with the Olivier Awards and will focus on contemporary theatre through performances, workshops and talks linked to the upcoming awards season.
Dance the Atlantic, created in partnership with the English National Ballet, is scheduled for July 16-23, 2027. The voyage will feature performances by ballet dancers alongside lectures, workshops and discussions exploring the art form.
Anthony Inglis and the National Symphony Orchestra will return for their 18th voyage with Cunard from October 1-8, 2027. In addition to a programme of orchestral performances, passengers will be able to attend question-and-answer sessions and participate in a guest choir that will rehearse throughout the crossing before performing alongside the orchestra.
The final themed sailing, Literature Festival at Sea, will take place between December 2nd and 9th, 2027. Curated in partnership with the team behind The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, the voyage will bring together authors, journalists, and commentators for a programme of talks and literary discussions.
Alongside the return of the Event Voyages, Cunard is launching a new programme of Entertainment Residencies across Queen Mary 2, Queen Anne, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria.

The residencies will feature touring productions, literary adaptations, historical dramas, and solo performances presented on selected sailings. Each residency will also incorporate complementary activities such as workshops, recitals, and storytelling sessions.
Among the productions announced are The Truman Capote Talk Show, a theatrical portrayal of the American writer, and The Essence of Audrey, a production inspired by the life of actress Audrey Hepburn, who travelled with Cunard during her lifetime.
Other productions include Frozen Love: A Buckingham Nicks Story, which explores the early relationship between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham before the formation of Fleetwood Mac, as well as An Afternoon Stroll with Hilaire Belloc and A Ghost Among the Living.
The latest programme reflects the continued importance of cultural enrichment within the premium cruise sector, where lines increasingly use partnerships with arts organisations and performers to create specialist sailings aimed at passengers seeking educational and entertainment-focused experiences.
“Entertainment has always been central to the Cunard experience, and our 2027 programme brings together world leading cultural partners in a way that only Cunard can,” said Katie McAlister, President, Cunard.
“From our signature Event Voyages on board the world’s only ocean liner to new residencies across the fleet, we’re giving guests the opportunity to connect with the arts in a way that simply isn’t possible anywhere else,” she added.
