MSC Cruises opens sales for MSC World Atlantic ahead of 2027 Port Canaveral debut

MSC Cruises has opened sales for MSC World Atlantic, the fourth vessel in the cruise line’s World Class series, ahead of the ship’s planned entry into service from Port Canaveral, Florida, in November 2027.

MSC World Atlantic will operate from Orlando’s primary cruise port with both winter and summer itineraries now available to book, offering alternating seven-night and 14-night itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

The itineraries call at a range of established regional destinations, including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the line’s private island in the Bahamas, as well as Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Turk Island, and Puerto Plata.

The deployment marks a further expansion of MSC Cruises’ presence in the North American market, and positions Port Canaveral as a key homeport for the line’s World Class vessels.

MSC World Atlantic follows MSC World America and MSC World Asia, continuing the design approach introduced with the class, which combines large-scale public areas with distinct onboard zones.

MSC Cruises said the vessel will feature more than 38,000 square metres of public space, structured across seven onboard districts, each designed with its own atmosphere, facilities, and experiences.

“The deployment of MSC World Atlantic from Port Canaveral, Orlando, underscores our dedication to offering U.S. and international guests our most cutting-edge ships, with Port Canaveral being a central hub with easy connections for guests from all around the world,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises. “As with each new ship we launch, she will feature new and innovative features, venues and attractions to further raise the bar for cruising in the Caribbean.”

On board, MSC World Atlantic will offer more than 40 bars, restaurants, and lounges, spanning a wide range of dining styles and formats.

These include Italian dining venues, the American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina, alongside additional concepts yet to be revealed. A new venue, Viva La Musica, will be introduced as a lounge bar celebrating Latin culture through music, dance, and a dedicated cocktail offering.

Family and entertainment facilities form a central part of the ship’s layout.

The Clubhouse, making its U.S. debut on MSC World Atlantic, is designed as a multi-generational space featuring table games, bumper cars, a LEGO Family Zone, basketball, and roller skating.

The ship will also feature Doremiland Kids Club, one of the largest dedicated children’s areas in the MSC Cruises fleet, catering to guests aged from infancy through to 17 years, including two LEGO-branded spaces.

Outdoor attractions include The Harbour, located within the Family Aventura District, which combines dining and play areas with an aquapark, waterslides, and splash zones, as well as a ropes-based High Trail course.

For guests seeking thrill-based experiences, MSC World Atlantic will also feature Cliffhanger, an over-water swing that lifts riders approximately 50 metres above the sea, following its debut on MSC World America.

Additional onboard features include the two-deck Panorama Lounge, which transitions from a pre-show cocktail venue into a performance space with LED displays, and the MSC Aurea Spa, incorporating one of the largest thermal areas in the fleet alongside treatment rooms, a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, and grooming facilities.

MSC World Atlantic will also include the MSC Yacht Club, the cruise line’s luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, offering keycard-only access to private lounges, dining areas, a dedicated pool and sun deck, and concierge services.

The vessel will feature 144 suites within the Yacht Club, with associated exclusive onshore amenities available at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
