Outfitting specialists LTH Boss detail refit work on Allure of the Seas during 47-Day refurb

Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas  returned to service in April with fresh interiors and new staterooms following a high-speed refurbishment project in Cádiz, Spain.

A newly released video from outfitting specialists LTH Boss details how the company added 52 passenger cabins and refreshed several key guest areas, including the photo gallery, shore excursions area and the Vitality Spa as part of the project.

The work, completed in just 47 days, required a round-the-clock effort that stretched from Miami to Barcelona and finally to the Cádiz drydock.

According to the company, more than 200 specialists were involved in the project, which saw existing spaces demolished and rebuilt to newbuild standards.

More than 1,000 pallets of premium materials were used in the process, with craftsmen, designers, and finishers working to deliver what the firm described as one of its most ambitious undertakings to date.

“Allure of the Seas’ transformation was achieved within a demanding schedule,” LTH Boss said in the video, emphasising the precision required to complete the work during a tight drydock window.

The addition of 52 cabins reflects the wider strategy of increasing accommodation on the line’s Oasis and Quantum-class ships, while also ensuring that refurbished areas match the comfort and style expected of Royal Caribbean’s newest vessels.

This project was part of a broader $100 million upgrade for Allure of the Seas under Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified programme.

Alongside the interior works, guests sailing this summer in the Western Mediterranean will find new pool deck features, such as the Perfect Storm waterslides and expanded Splashaway Bay for children.

New food and beverage concepts have also been introduced, including The Lime & Coconut bar, El Loco Fresh and The Pesky Parrot tiki-style cocktail venue.

Following her return to service in April, Allure of the Seas is operating week-long cruises from Barcelona and Civitavecchia, visiting popular ports in Spain, France and Italy. In late October, she will reposition across the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale for a winter season of Caribbean cruises.

With her refreshed interiors, additional staterooms and new entertainment features, Allure of the Seas continues to offer the scale and variety of the Oasis class while presenting guests with updated spaces designed to meet modern cruising expectations.
