Oceania Cruises revamps programming and entertainment across the fleet

Oceania Cruises has announced changes to its onboard entertainment across the fleet, with many of the new offerings set to launch with Oceania Allura in July 2025.

The updated programme introduces a broader range of activities throughout the day and evening, including new shows, wellness sessions, and themed events.

A key addition is The Blue Horizons Party, which will roll out fleetwide aboard all eight ships following its earlier debut on Oceania Marina. The event invites guests to wear shades of blue and features cocktails, live music, and informal socialising in an open-deck setting.

The revised entertainment falls into four main categories:

Enrich
Guests can engage in destination-themed culinary sessions, talks from guest speakers, and hands-on workshops. These include lectures, demonstrations, and discussions intended to provide further context to the cruise itinerary.

Entertain
Live performances, cultural shows, educational activities, and interactive games will be offered throughout each voyage. The programming is designed to appeal to a range of interests without relying on spectacle.

Unwind
Daily wellness activities such as yoga and meditation will be available, alongside quieter areas for reading or creative pursuits, including the Library, Artist Loft, and pool deck.

Celebrate
Evening events will include music, deck gatherings, and themed dinners. These will vary by sailing and are designed to encourage informal social interaction among guests.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this evolution of Oceania Cruises’ entertainment,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. “These enhancements reflect our commitment to delighting our discerning guests with experiences that match their sophisticated tastes – combining enrichment, wellness, and celebration into unforgettable onboard moments. It’s entertainment with meaning and heart, and we cannot wait to reveal more in the coming months.”

New entertainment includes revamped evening and daytime programming

On Oceania Vista and Oceania Allura, wellness offerings will include guided stretching and yoga sessions held in the theatre, suitable for all fitness levels.

These additions build on the cruise line’s existing Aquamar wellness programme, which includes spa treatments, lighter dining options, and wellness-themed shore excursions.

The changes also extend the cruise line’s existing enrichment activities such as guest speaker sessions and creative workshops. More details about specific programming for each ship and sailing are expected ahead of Oceania Allura’s launch in mid-2025.
