MSC World Europa to homeport in Dubai again for 2026/27 Middle East season

MSC World Europa, the largest ship in the MSC Cruises fleet, will return to the Arabian Gulf for the 2026/27 cruise season, homeporting once again in Dubai

The ship was last based in the region during the 2022/23 season, and its confirmed return marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of the Middle East’s cruise industry.

With capacity for more than 6,700 guests and known for its LNG propulsion and futuristic design, MSC World Europa will offer itineraries that include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, among other Gulf destinations.

The 7-night itinerary includes calls at Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island, Bahrain, Doha, and an overnight stay in Dubai before returning to the UAE capital.

Passengers will be able to embark in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Doha, offering flexible departure options across three regional hubs.

The sailing includes a mix of city experiences, beach stops, and cultural excursions, with highlights such as Sir Bani Yas Island’s private beach and wildlife park, and Bahrain’s traditional souks and historical sites.

The announcement reaffirms MSC Cruises’ long-term commitment to the region and reflects the growing popularity of winter cruising in the Arabian Gulf.

The ship’s return will follow a successful 2025/26 season featuring MSC Euribia, which is set to homeport in Dubai from November 2025, offering 3-, 4-, and 7-night roundtrip cruises to Gulf ports including Sir Bani Yas Island and Manama.

That deployment, and the confirmation of MSC World Europa for the following season, demonstrate MSC Cruises’ ongoing investment in regional cruise infrastructure and tourism.

With capacity for more than 6,700 guests, MSC World Europa is one of the largest and most advanced cruise ships in the world.

The ship features 14 restaurants, including Chef’s Garden Kitchen, Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, La Pescaderia fish restaurant, and Kaito Teppanyaki and sushi bars. It also offers 18 cafes and bars such as the Gin Project, Elixir-Mixology Bar, and Jean-Philippe Chocolate & Cake.

Recreational and wellness facilities include four pools, 12 whirlpools, a large spa and gym, and the Aurora Borealis aquapark with waterslides.

For thrill-seekers, the Venom Drop @ The Spiral dry slide spans 11 decks. Entertainment options range from the World Theatre and Panorama Lounge to the MSC Formula Racer, 5D cinema, and dedicated clubs for babies, children, and teens. Guests in the premium MSC Yacht Club enjoy access to private areas including a dedicated restaurant, bar, grill, pool, and lounge.
