Mareel Spa
Cunard Line has announced a partnership with Harper’s Bazaar UK to create a holistic wellness program exclusively for guests aboard the new Queen Anne.
Cunard and the fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine will design three spa packages for guests sailing onboard the new ship, which is set to debut on May 3rd, 2024.
The partnership marks a collaboration between the world’s oldest passenger shipping line and the longest established luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle publication in the world.
Each package within the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program includes a three-day detoxing, energizing, or relaxing experience, and will be offered at US $629.
This charge will include a selection of spa treatments, a range of ELEMIS products and unique and nutritionally balanced dining options from The Pavilion Wellness Café aboard Queen Anne.
The Harper’s Bazaar Detox Journey will revive and restore clean living habits and features a cryo-body detox and body sculpting treatment; the Harper’s Bazaar Energise Journey empowers guests with a mix of mindful eating, massage, and movement, including a bamboo massage; and the Harper’s Bazaar Relax Journey encompasses a collection of soothing treatments, such as a restorative salt stone massage, that will reset the nervous system.
“Wellness is such an integral part of luxury ocean travel in the modern age and we’re so excited to be collaborating with Harper’s Bazaar UK to deliver an elevated wellbeing offering for Queen Anne,” said Katie McAlister, President of Cunard. “This partnership will enable us to showcase the ultimate in wellbeing escapes as we offer travelers truly luxurious treatments, specialist masterclasses and tailor-made health guides as part of this holistic wellness program.”
“Wellness will be a fundamental part of the Queen Anne experience, where guests can immerse themselves in the very best of luxury travel while nurturing their mind, body, and spirit and we hope their personal revitalization will be a memorable part of their voyage with us,” she added.
The new spa offerings will form part of the reimagined Mareel Wellness & Beauty offering aboard Queen Anne, the wellness complex includes The Pavilion, an open-air oasis on the top deck, which features a specially designed glass dome roof that retracts in warmer climes.
The multi-purpose space will encompass the top deck Wellness Studio gym, as well as The Pavilion Wellness Café, an alternative dining experience offering a mix of seasonal dishes.
The spa itself is where guests will enjoy a variety of uniquely crafted experiences, from the first cryo-body treatments at sea to the Himalayan salt sauna and cold room.
