Princess Cruises West Coast itineraries to sail roundtrip to Mexico and Hawaii in 2022

Princess Cruises has released its 2022/23 West Coast cruise season with voyages from the United States to Mexico, Hawaii, Tahiti and the Californian coast.

Princess Cruises West Coast itineraries will feature six ships, including the new Discovery Princess, with 78 cruises on 19 roundtrip itineraries from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.

The cruises go on sale on April 28th, 2021, with 25 destinations in six countries on offer. The six ships being deployed for the Princess Cruises West Coast season are Discovery Princess, Majestic Princess, Crown Princess, Ruby Princess, Grand Princess and Sapphire Princess.

All six are now MedallionClass vessels, offering Princess Cruises’ enhanced onboard experience using wearable technology, including superfast internet at sea.

Mexico

Four MedallionClass ships – Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, Ruby Princess, and Sapphire Princess – will visit eight cruise destinations in two countries, including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas.

The ships will operate 29 cruises on four unique itineraries, ranging in length from five to 10 days.

Discovery Princess will sail five- and seven-day roundtrip voyages from Los Angeles, with every five-day cruise including an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas.

Ruby Princess will sail 10-day Mexican Riviera cruises roundtrip from San Francisco, while Sapphire Princess and Discovery Princess will both sail 10-day Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez roundtrip from Los Angeles.

California Coast

Five MedallionClass ships – Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, Grand Princess, Majestic Princess, and Ruby Princess – will cruise to 10 destinations in three countries, including Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Astoria, San Diego, and Monterey.

The ships will sail 28 cruises on 11 unique itineraries ranging in length from three to 10 days, sailing from either Los Angeles, San Francisco or Vancouver.

Discovery Princess sails roundtrip from Los Angeles and Ruby Princess will cruise five- and seven-day sailings roundtrip from San Francisco.

Late night stays on roundtrip sailings allow guests time to explore San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, and Victoria.

Hawaii & Tahiti

Three MedallionClass ships – Crown Princess, Ruby Princess, and Sapphire Princess – will visit 13 destinations in six countries including Maui (Lahaina), Hilo (Hawaii), Oahu (Honolulu), Kauai (Nawiliwili) and five Pacific Islands.

The ships will sail 21 cruises on four unique itineraries, ranging in length from 15- to 28-days.

The 15-day roundtrip cruises visiting Kauai, Oahu (Honolulu), Maui and the big island of Hawaii will departfrom three homeports – Los Angeles (Crown Princess and Sapphire Princess), San Francisco (Ruby Princess) and Vancouver (Crown Princess).

Most voyages feature a late-night stay in Honolulu for guests to take advantage of the island lifestyle, like the traditional Hawaiian luau.

The popular 28-day Hawaii, Tahiti & Samoa voyage returns, sailing roundtrip from Los Angeles on Crown Princess with an overnight stay in Bora Bora and late-night calls in Honolulu, Papeete and Moorea.
