Regent Seven Seas will cancel its decade-long Canyon Ranch spa partnership later this year and launch its own spa concept, Serene Spa & Wellness, across the fleet, according to Cruise Critic.
Serene Spa & Wellness will launch fleetwide this winter on all Regent ships, including Seven Seas Splendor, which debuts in February, 2020.

The two newest ships Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendour will also get a new thermal suite

“Regent is deeply inspired by the peace and serenity that can be found in every region of our globe, and we are bringing the beautiful traditions and tried-and-true techniques of the world’s cultures into the exclusive experiences of Serene Spa & Wellness through spa treatments, cuisine and captivating shore excursions,” said Jason Montague, President & CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
As such, the spa will offer a menu intended to reflect the destinations on Regent’s itineraries around the world, such as the Mediterranean-inspired Regent Massage, United Kingdom-inspired Calming Rose Facial and South Pacific-inspired Regent Manicure and Pedicure.
There will also be Elemis facial therapies and Kerastase salon services, as well as Regent-original massages, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, fitness classes and wellness-related shore excursions.
Select restaurants on each Regent ship will also feature a Serene Spa & Wellness Selections category, with dining choices that are globally inspired and health conscious, according to the cruise line.
Seven Seas Explorer will be the first ship to feature the new spa concept from December 7th, 2019. But, she will also get the Serene Spa & Wellness Hydrothermal Suite with a multisensory aromatherapy steam room, a chill room, an infrared sauna and experiential showers.
When Seven Seas Splendour is launched in 2020 she will feature the new spa and hydrothermal suite as well.

The rest of the fleet, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator, will have the new spa introduced on-board throughout January. For Mariner it will be from January 6, while Voyager will debut it on January 7th. Seven Seas Navigator will have the spa installed on January 23rd, 2020.
Seven Seas Splendour is set to debut in February, 2020 with Captain Serena Melani in command. She is the first woman in cruise industry history to captain a new ocean cruise ship at launch.
Both Seven Seas Splendour and Seven Seas Explorer are billed as the most luxurious cruise ships ever built, and among the most expensive on a per-ton basis.
At approximately 55,000-gross tons and carrying 750 guests, the new vessel will feature 500 crystal chandeliers and over 46,000 square-feet of Italian marble, including the marble-detailed bathrooms in each of her 375 guest suites.
She will feature nearly 52,000 square-feet of balcony space (because every single cabin will have one) meaning that all the balconies added together would be the size of an American football field.
