Seven Seas Navigator to cruise from Dubai in 2019 cruise season

Regent Seven Seas Cruises are sending their cruise ship Seven Seas Navigator back to the Middle East cruise market in 2019 with a 20-night Ancient Pyramids itinerary from Dubai to Rome.

The 172m, 530-passenger luxury cruise ship will depart Dubai on April 9th, 2019, with a destination-intensive Middle East cruise itinerary that includes port calls in Fujairah, Salalah, Aqaba and Safaga before she transits the Panama Canal.

Seven Seas Navigator will arrive in Ashdod, Israel two days later, visiting Haifa and its ancient sites the following day, before cruising for Iraklion in Greece and Sorrento in Italy, with a day at sea in-between. Navigator will arrive in Civitavecchia (the port for Rome) on April 29th.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ is a regular caller in the Middle East, offering cruises from Dubai every year for the past five years. In 2017 Seven Seas Voyager is cruising from Dubai to Singapore, a 21-night Indian Ocean cruise that visits India, Sri Lanka and the Far East.

Seven Seas Voyager will cruise from Dubai again in 2018, departing May 12th on a 21-night cruise to Rome, with a very similar itinerary to Navigator’s in 2018, except that port calls in Greece include Limassol and Rhodes.

The cruise in 2019 will be Navigator’s first cruise from Dubai, and its first visit to the Middle East cruise market, since 2014, although in the 2017 cruise season she sailed from Abu Dhabi on a 40-night Grand Voyage to Miami, with a port call in Dubai.

The 40-night cruise to Miami, departed April 3rd, 2017, and was a grand voyage from the Middle East to the United States, visiting some of the world’s most iconic ports of call along the way.

The cruise included visits to some of the Middle East’s most popular cruise destinations as well, including Salalah, Oman and Aqaba, Jordan (the gateway to the ancient city of Petra) as well as Safaga and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.

Cyprus, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Monaco, France and Portugal were some of the other major destinations visited during the cruise, which included a trans-Atlantic crossing a visit to the island of Bermuda before arriving in Miami, Florida on the 13th of May.

There were 20 ports of call in total on this 40-night cruise, with no more than two full days at sea at any point during the voyage, giving passengers plenty to do.
