Regent Seven Seas Voyager and Navigator to cruise from Dubai in 2019 to Europe and Asia

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will be cruising from Dubai with two cruise ships in 2019, Seven Seas Navigator and Seven Seas Voyager will both offer Dubai cruise departures, but to opposite parts of the world.

On April 9^th, 2019, Seven Seas Navigator will cruise from Dubai on a 20-night cruise to Civitavecchia (Rome) in Italy via the Suez Canal and Fujairah, Salalah and Safaga in Egypt, before entering the Mediterranean with its rich litany of historic ports.

The ship will call at Ashdod and Haifa in Israel, as well as Iraklion in Greece before making a stop in Sorrento, Italy ahead of its arrival in Civitavecchia (the gateway port to Rome).

On November 16^th, 2019, Seven Seas Voyager will also call in Dubai, beginning a new cruise itinerary from Dubai to Singapore, a 20-night Indian Ocean crossing that visits all the major cruise destinations in India, Sir Lanka and Southeast Asia.

After cruising from Dubai, Seven Seas Voyager will visit Fujairah on the UAE’s Indian Ocean coast, before heading out to sea bound for India. This itinerary is unusual in that it does not feature Muscat in Oman as a port of call, but it makes up for it with the many other destinations on offer.

In India, Voyager will makes port calls in Mumbai, Mormugao (the gateway to Goa), Mangalore and Cochin, before visiting Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.

After another few days at sea, she’ll then call in Yangon, Myanmar and Phuket in Thailand before arriving in Singapore.

Seven Seas Voyager was thoroughly refurbished in 2017, while Navigator’s refurbishment was completed in late-2016.

Long billed as one of the most luxurious cruise vessels afloat, Voyager got elegant new décor throughout all public areas and suites, new and enhanced dining options (including a new French restaurant), four new production shows and more.

The refurbishment done on Seven Seas Navigator, the cruise line’s oldest ship at 17 years, was even more extensive. Almost every public room and stateroom was entirely demolished and rebuilt from scratch.

The refurbishments on these two vessels, and Regent Seven Seas’ third cruise ship Mariner in 2018, were done to bring the line’s existing ships up to date with its new vessel, Seven Seas Explorer.
