Regent Seven Seas Cruises to debut Solmar Terrace dining venue aboard Seven Seas Prestige

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will introduce a new al fresco dining venue aboard Seven Seas Prestige when the ship enters service in December 2026.

Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose will be exclusive to the new ship and is the second new dining concept announced for the vessel, joining Mediterranean-inspired speciality restaurant Azure.

Located aft of Compass Rose on Deck 5, Solmar Terrace will operate between noon and 6pm and offer outdoor daytime dining.

Seven Seas Prestige

Its menu will span a range of cuisines, with mezze-style appetisers, sushi, tapas, and yakitori alongside dishes including Korean beef short rib, chicken and shrimp satay, teriyaki pork belly, king oyster mushroom, and Japanese broiled salmon.

“Dining is an essential part of the Regent experience, and Seven Seas Prestige represents an exciting opportunity to further elevate our all-inclusive culinary offering,” said Wesley D’Silva, President, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“As the first new Regent ship class in more than a decade, Seven Seas Prestige ushers in a new era for our brand, with extraordinary new experiences throughout the ship. Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose and Azure add even more choice, variety and flexibility for guests, complementing Regent’s collection of included specialty restaurants and further enriching the unrivaled ultra-luxury experience that defines a Regent voyage,” he added.

Regent has also revealed the menu for Azure, a new speciality restaurant drawing on culinary influences from Europe, Africa, and Asia.

The venue will serve a Mediterranean-inspired menu centred on small plates designed for sharing. Dishes will include miso-roasted eggplant, Spanish-style shrimp, lobster orzo saganaki, and duck leg confit.

Solmar Terrace

Solmar Terrace and Azure will form part of 11 dining experiences aboard Seven Seas Prestige, including seven speciality restaurants.

Regent is also updating the menu at Prime 7, its speciality steakhouse, ahead of the ship’s introduction.

The revised menu will include new versions of existing steakhouse dishes alongside additions such as lobster thermidor, halibut fish and chips, roasted chicken supreme, truffle mac and cheese, and a 14-layer chocolate mousse cake.

Regent said its culinary teams drew inspiration from steakhouses including Daniel’s in Miami when developing the updated recipes.

The revised Prime 7 menu will initially debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige before being introduced across the wider Regent fleet at a later date.

Other dining venues aboard the new ship will include Compass Rose, Pacific Rim, Chartreuse, Sette Mari at La Veranda, La Veranda, Pool Grill, and Coffee Connection. The ship will also offer 24-hour in-suite dining.

Seven Seas Prestige is the first vessel in a new class for Regent in more than a decade and is scheduled to enter service in December.
