Crystal Cruises has unveiled new family and outdoor spaces aboard Crystal Grace ahead of its 2028 debut.
The luxury cruise line’s newest ship will introduce expanded facilities for families, teenagers, and children alongside new outdoor venues, including the largest swimming pool in the Crystal fleet and the line’s first private poolside cabanas.
Scheduled to enter service in June 2028, Crystal Grace represents the next stage in Crystal’s fleet expansion while reflecting growing demand for multi-generational travel.
Among the new features is a dedicated outdoor family area on Deck 11, where younger guests will have access to a shallow swimming pool, outdoor games and open-air recreation spaces designed to encourage active play while allowing families to spend time together.
The ship will also introduce the largest dedicated teen venue in Crystal’s fleet.
Known as the Waves Teen Center, the space has been created exclusively for guests aged 13 to 17 and includes an entertainment lounge with a large screen for gaming and films, card and board game areas, and a music and dance space complete with its own sound system and dance floor.
Programming will operate daily during peak family travel periods, including school holidays and the summer season.
Younger children will be catered for through a redesigned Fantasia Children’s Playroom for guests aged three to 12.
The venue will offer supervised activities, creative play and drop-off programmes, while Crystal will continue providing its in-room babysitting service for families travelling with younger children.
Alongside the family facilities, Crystal Grace will introduce several new outdoor venues designed to expand the ship’s open-deck experience.
At the centre of Deck 10 will be the Seahorse Pool, which Crystal says will become the largest swimming pool across its fleet.
The area will feature 140 loungers spread across Decks 10 and 11, together with a large outdoor LED screen that will be used for sporting events, destination programming and open-air cinema evenings.
For the first time, Crystal will also introduce private cabanas overlooking the main pool.
Located on Deck 11, the ship will offer 60 cabanas accommodating two guests each. Available on a first-come, first-served basis, the spaces have been designed to provide a quieter retreat overlooking the pool deck and the surrounding ocean.
A new pool bar will also debut aboard Crystal Grace, creating an additional outdoor venue for drinks and socialising throughout the day and evening.
The venue was recently announced for sister ship Crystal Serenity as part of its forthcoming dry dock and will be incorporated into Crystal Grace from launch.

Crystal Grace is scheduled to enter service on June 11th, 2028, when it departs Civitavecchia (Rome) on an eight-night inaugural voyage to Venice.
The ship will become the latest addition to Crystal’s fleet as the luxury line continues investing in both family-focused facilities and expanded outdoor guest spaces while maintaining its premium positioning.
