Crystal unveils suite renderings for Crystal Grace ahead of 2028 debut

Crystal Cruises has revealed new suite renderings for Crystal Grace, its next-generation cruise ship, scheduled to enter service in May 2028.

The vessel will feature an all-suite, all-veranda configuration, including select accommodations with expansive wraparound verandas, a first for the cruise line.

Crystal Grace has been designed by cruise ship architectural firm GEM, with overall art direction and interior design coordination led by Milan-based Studio Ibsen.

The 61,800 gross ton vessel will accommodate up to 650 guests based on double occupancy across 337 suites featuring enhanced storage solutions and updated layouts designed for extended voyages.

“From the very beginning of Crystal Grace’s design process, we prioritised listening to our guests,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of Abercrombi & Kent Travel Group, the parent company of Crystal Cruises. “Their preferences, their habits and the way they live while at sea informed every decision we made.”

“These suites reflect a thoughtful evolution of space, comfort and accessibility, delivering the elevated residential feeling our guests have asked for while preserving the elegance and intimacy that define the Crystal experience,” she added.

Each suite aboard Crystal Grace will be attended by a Crystal butler, with services including evening preparation of the suite and personalised attention to guest preferences. Accommodation features across the ship will include a curated pillow menu, bed linens by Jesurum 1870, and updated storage configurations intended to support longer itineraries and higher luggage volumes.

The entry-level Guest Room with Veranda will measure 230 square feet, including a 57 square foot private veranda, and will feature a living area with sofa, walk-in shower and built-in closet.

Aquamarine Veranda Suites, forming the majority of accommodation on board, will measure 333 square feet with an 85 square foot veranda, while versions aligned to the Americans with Disabilities Act will offer 341 square feet with accessible layouts across the bedroom, bathroom, and veranda.

Higher-category suites include Sapphire Suites, located on Decks 6 to 9, ranging from 461 to 537 square feet, with verandas measuring 113 square feet. Select Sapphire Suites will feature wraparound verandas measuring up to 344 square feet.

Junior Penthouse Suites will be positioned midship and forward, including four midship suites measuring 845 square feet with 227 square foot verandas, and two forward-facing suites on Deck 8 measuring 740 square feet with 602 square foot wraparound verandas.

Penthouse Suites will range from 1,220 to 1,232 square feet and include both midship and aft-facing layouts. Midship Penthouse Suites on Deck 6 will feature 659 square foot verandas, while aft suites on Decks 7 and 9 will include wraparound verandas measuring up to 982 square feet.

Crystal said it will also introduce additional suite categories at a later stage, including a first-ever Owner’s Suite, as part of a broader approach to expanding choice across its accommodation portfolio on board Crystal Grace.
