MSC World Asia to feature largest MSC Yacht Club to date, and new Royal Duplex Suite

MSC Cruises has confirmed that MSC World Asia, the third ship in its World Class series, will feature the most extensive MSC Yacht Club offering in the company’s history when it enters service in December 2026.

The ship will debut a new Royal Duplex Suite among seven suite categories and will begin sailing seven-night Mediterranean itineraries from December 4th, 2026.

The MSC Yacht Club aboard MSC World Asia will span more than 9,900 square metres across the ship’s foredecks, offering 144 suites, a private restaurant and lounge, and a two-tier sundeck furnished by Italian brand Unopiù.

The ship-within-a-ship concept includes 24-hour butler and concierge service, premium drinks, priority embarkation and disembarkation, and access to the Aurea Spa’s thermal area.

Making its debut for the first time in the fleet, the Royal Duplex Suite measures 53 square metres over two levels, connected by a spiral staircase. It accommodates up to six guests and includes two bedrooms, a large living room, an 11-square-metre private balcony with a whirlpool bath, and two marble bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a walk-in shower.

“MSC World Asia will provide an unparalleled cruise experience when she sets sail in the Mediterranean next year,” said Cristian Comirla, Senior Director, Yacht Club & Hotel Services. “Guests can expect to find all of the facilities and services that they have come to know and love about the MSC Yacht Club, and with the exciting addition of the new Royal Duplex Suite, there’s also something new to discover.”

“This new suite is perfect for larger groups and families to enjoy the benefits of MSC Yacht Club while still having access to the excitement of the ship’s entertainment, dining venues and other amenities,” he added.

Other returning accommodation types will include multi-room Owner’s Suites, Royal Suites with whirlpool baths, Duplex Suites, and Deluxe and Interior Suites. MSC said that MSC World Asia will combine the privacy of the Yacht Club with access to the ship’s wider entertainment, dining, and recreational options.

The 215,000-gross-ton ship will reflect Asian cultural influences through design elements celebrating the region’s art and landscapes. Like her sister ships MSC World Europa and MSC World America, she will be divided into seven distinct onboard districts, each designed to help guests navigate the ship and select their preferred experience.

MSC World Asia will sail year-round Mediterranean itineraries in winter 2026/27 and summer 2027, calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, Naples and Valletta, with embarkation available at multiple ports.
