Celebrity Cruises has revealed four new venues that will debut aboard its new cruise ship, Celebrity Xcel, ahead of its launch in November 2025.
The new spaces include a redesigned pool club, an adult games lounge, additions to the onboard spa, and an interactive flagship retail store.
Celebrity Xcel will be the fifth ship in the line’s Edge Series, and the first to introduce these specific experiences, which are intended to broaden onboard offerings for guests, particularly in terms of leisure and wellness.

“These four new venues are part of seven new experiences debuting on Celebrity Xcel,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “Celebrity Xcel will set sail with seven new elevated experiences that invite guests to escape their daily routine and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
The Celebrity Pool Club has been reconfigured to offer more shaded areas, as well as cabanas with dedicated service. A pool valet will provide amenities such as cold towels, card games, and sunscreen.
On the final sea day of Caribbean itineraries, the venue will host an event called Poolest Day Ever, featuring live music, games, and Caribbean-inspired drinks. This will be followed by a poolside evening event titled Shine the Night.
A second new space, The Attic at The Club, will function as an adults-only games lounge. Open 24 hours a day, the venue will include retro arcade games, pool tables, darts, foosball, and shuffleboard.

It will also feature a private event area, intended to accommodate activities such as karaoke and golf simulators.
In the spa area, two new features have been added to the ship’s Thermal Suite: the Hydra Room, centred on water therapy, and the Vitamin D Room, an outdoor relaxation space with ocean views.
The spa will offer over 120 treatments and will include an onboard skin analysis lab and a bar serving non-alcoholic drinks.
The ship will also introduce the Celebrity Flagship Store, which combines retail with brand storytelling. The venue will include interactive screens, vintage memorabilia, and a small customisation station for merchandise including robes, cocktail kits, and water bottles.

Celebrity Xcel guests can also look forward to an experience designed to erase the line between ship and shore at The Bazaar, and Mediterranean cuisine at al fresco restaurant, Bora. Celebrity Xcel will also debut the cruise line’s most expansive entertainment offering to date offering more variety and more entertainers.
Celebrity Xcel is scheduled to begin service in November 2025 with a series of 7-night Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale. It will then reposition to the Mediterranean in summer 2026, offering sailings from Barcelona and Athens.
