Silversea to expand capacity, introduce S.A.L.T and other enhancements aboard Silver Muse

Silversea Cruises is sending Silver Muse into drydock for major refit and refurbishment in November 2025 that will include a capacity increase, new culinary offerings, and broader suite options.

According to updated deck plans, the ship’s double occupancy will increase by around seven percent—from just under 600 guests to 632.

The additional capacity will come from replacing several Silver Suites with smaller Medallion and Classic Veranda suites, particularly on Deck 9, where six Silver Suites are being replaced with 12 new staterooms.

Classic Verandah Suite

The overall number of Silver Suites will reduce from 34 to just eight.

The 40,700-ton vessel, originally delivered in 2017, is a sister ship to Silver Dawn and Silver Moon, introduced as part of a fleet expansion prior to Silversea’s acquisition by Royal Caribbean Group.

Its upcoming “redefining revitalization,” according to the line, will enhance onboard elegance and introduce more varied suite configurations.

A key feature of the refurbishment is the addition of S.A.L.T., Silversea’s regional culinary concept, which will replace the Indochine restaurant on Deck 4. The new venue will serve menus inspired by destinations visited and include a dedicated bar for local wines and cocktails.

The ship’s La Dolce Vita main dining room will be reduced in size to make room for technical upgrades.

Silver Muse currently offers a wide range of facilities across its decks. Dining options include La Grande Dame by Relais & Châteaux, Atlantide bar and grill, La Terrazza, Kabuki, Hot Rocks, and the poolside Regina Margherita.

Deck 4 hosts La Grande Dame, Atlantide, Kabuki, and Indochine, while Deck 5 includes the reception area, theatre, main bar, and Shore Concierge. The spa, salon and fitness centre are located on Deck 6, with Deck 7 home to La Terrazza and another dining venue.

Deck 8 features boutiques, Connoisseur’s Corner, library, and conference room. Deck 9 includes the main pool, whirlpools, Hot Rocks, and poolside bar and grill. Deck 10 houses the Panorama Lounge and a children’s play area, while Deck 11 features the Observation Lounge, Regina Margherita, and a jogging track.

Suites include teak verandas, marble bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, HDTVs, a media library, writing desks, and mobile device chargers. All these public areas and suites will also be refreshed with new soft furnishings and other upgrades during the refit.

Silver Muse will debut its enhancements in early December ahead of a winter season in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.
