MSC World Europa, MSC Shop
MSC Cruises will significantly expand its onboard retail offering with the launch of its new flagship, MSC World America, set to debut next month.
A sister ship the MSC World Europa, the ship, the largest in the fleet, will feature a 1,000m² shopping area with nine retail outlets, including a mix of boutiques, global brands and new retail concepts.
New additions include MSC Cruises’ first pre-owned luxury accessories outlet, a Bulova pop-up, and shops offering fashion, liquor, watches, jewellery, perfume, electronics, and souvenirs.
“We are thrilled for our future guests to experience of our dynamic retail offering aboard our newest ship, MSC World America,” said Georg Schmickler, Senior Vice President Onboard Revenue.
“The shopping experience onboard has been thoughtfully designed to cater to every guest, featuring a diverse range of world-class brand partnerships, innovative new concepts and returning guests’ favourites,” he added. “With our expanded retail offering, our aim is to provide our guests with an exceptional and tailored shopping journey while at sea.”
Key retail offerings aboard MSC World America include:
Luxury at Sea: MSC Cruises’ first pre-owned accessories concept, offering items from Hermès, Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
Bulova Pop-Up Shop: Located in the World Galleria, featuring a selection of watches.
Sif Jakobs Lab-Grown Diamonds: A first at sea, offering certified 14k gold and lab-grown diamond jewellery.
TimeVallée: A multi-brand watch boutique featuring Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Chopard, Hublot, IWC, Panerai and Tag Heuer.
Omega Shop: The fourth standalone Omega store in the MSC fleet.
World of Jewels: A multi-brand jewellery boutique with pieces from Chopard, Messika and RF Jewels.
Effy Jewellery: Featuring a selection of Effy’s fine jewellery.
Shopping Gallery: A 364m² space with a range of products and services.
MSC Shop: Branded merchandise from MSC Cruises and MSC World America.
MSC World America will depart on her maiden voyage on April 12th, 2025, sailing roundtrip from PortMiami on alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Destinations include Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico), Isla de Roatan (Honduras), and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, the cruise line’s private island destination.
MSC World America is the second of the cruise line’s World-class mega-ships, with a tonnage in excess of 200,000 gross tons and carrying more than 6,700 passengers. She will be joined by MSC World Asia and MSC World Atlantic in the coming years.
