MSC expands new Dirty Dancing production to MSC Virtuosa after World America debut

MSC Cruises has announced a new entertainment lineup for MSC Virtuosa headlined by Dirty Dancing: In Concert, which first debuted aboard MSC World America

The new entertainment line-up will be launched during the summer 2025 season, during which MSC Virtuosa will homeport in Southampton, UK, offering cruises to Northern Europe, the Atlantic coast, Norwegian fjords, and the Canary Islands.

The first performance of Dirty Dancing: In Concert is scheduled for July 10th, 2025, featuring a live band, singers, and dancers performing in sync with the movie. Guests can also enjoy  a Dirty Dancing-themed after-show party with sing-alongs.

Dirty Dancing in Concert will be performed multiple times on each sailing

Other new shows being introduced aboard MSC Virtuosa for her UK season include Songbook Abba, featuring ABBA’s greatest hits, and Starwalker, a tribute to Michael Jackson’s classic hits.

Hall of Fame, a new show celebrating pop legends, as well as two brand-new circus aerial performances at the Carousel Lounge, will also launch in June and autumn 2025.

The official names for the circus shows will be chosen by families and children onboard, according to a press release.

“We’re thrilled to introduce brand-new daytime and evening headline events that will leave our guests in awe,” he added. “We’re particularly excited about the premiere of ‘Dirty Dancing: In Concert, ‘Hall of Fame’ and our newest Carousel Productions Cirque shows, which will both debut this summer.”
