Costa Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 World Cruise, a 139-day voyage aboard Costa Deliziosa, with several ports of call in South Africa on offer, including Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
Departing Savona on November 25th, 2026, and concluding April 12th, 2027, the World Cruise spans five continents, 29 countries, and 47 destinations, with calls at some of the world’s most iconic locations.
Highlights include a visit to Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, Costa’s private island, as well as iconic cities along the East and West Coasts of the United States, the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and destinations across Southeast Asia and Africa.

In addition to the full 139-day itinerary from Savona, guests can opt for a 100-day segment, embarking in San Francisco and visiting destinations in Oceania, Asia, and Africa before disembarking in Savona.
This option includes convenient flight access from major airports.
“With the 2027 World Cruise, we aim to offer a truly unique and unforgettable experience, combining iconic destinations with exclusive new ports, some of which have never been featured on our itineraries,” said Luigi Stefanelli, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Costa Cruises.
“This edition redefines the concept of a world voyage, offering an extraordinary adventure with Costa’s renowned quality and hospitality,” he added.
Sailing westward, Costa Deliziosa will visit both coasts of the US, with extended calls in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, where guests can ring in the New Year. Overland helicopter tours offer breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

The cruise then ventures to Hawaii (Maui and Oahu), followed by stops in Australia (Cairns and Sydney) and New Caledonia, offering a mix of cultural immersion and stunning natural landscapes.
Guests will explore Japan’s futuristic cities with an optional five-day Overland Tour covering Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Hakone, and Mount Fuji before rejoining the ship. The itinerary also includes Hong Kong, Singapore, and the exotic charm of Vietnam.
After visiting the Maldives, the ship crosses the Indian Ocean to South Africa, where guests can experience a safari in Port Elizabeth, the famous windlands of the Garden Route, and venture up Table Mountain, or visit Roben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.
The journey then heads north along Africa’s west coast before returning to the Mediterranean.

Costa Deliziosa offers a luxurious and comfortable onboard experience. The ship features Murano glass décor, outdoor decks named after flowers, and elegant, light-filled cabins.
Guests can unwind at the Sunset Bar, enjoy diverse entertainment with live music and dance shows, or indulge in a variety of gourmet dining experiences.
The culinary offerings include buffets, themed restaurants, and international cuisine, catering to all tastes. The ship also features specialty bars for cocktails and aperitifs.
Bookings for the 2027 World Cruise aboard Costa Deliziosa are now available through travel agencies and on Costa Cruises’ official website. Limited cabins are also still available for the 2026 World Cruise, departing on November 21st, 2025, from Trieste, also aboard Costa Deliziosa.
