Viking has announced the itinerary for its 2026/27 World Cruise aboard Viking Sky, visiting 41 countries and offering 81 guided shore excursions across the 170 day voyage.
The cruise will include 18 overnight stays in cities around the world, including Cape Town, South Africa, from which Viking Sky will sail a grand voyage up the West African coast, visiting Lagos in Nigeria and Accra and Takoradi in Ghana.
Viking Sky will depart Fort Lauderdale on December 22nd, 2026, sailing to six continents before reaching her final destination in Stockholm on June 10th, 2027.

“Our approach in everything we do has always been to focus on the destination, from our thoughtfully curated itineraries to our elegant small ships, which are designed to bring guests closer and enable exploration,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO, Viking.
The cruise will visit Hawaii; the isles of the South Pacific, including French Polynesia; New Zealand and Australia; Asia; the western coast of Africa; Europe; and then conclude in either London or Stockholm.
A shorter, 153-day portion of the World Cruise departs from Los Angeles on January 8th, 2027, and visits 37 countries with 18 overnight ports of call before ending in Stockholm.
The company added that guests may also choose the 142-day Viking World Cruise 2026-2027 itinerary from Fort Lauderdale to London, visiting 31 countries, or the 125-day voyage, Viking World Discoveries, which departs from Los Angeles and visits 27 countries before ending in London.

Itineraries will feature overnight stays in ports such as Sydney, Zanzibar, Cape Town and Casablanca, with onboard lectures and entertainment, as well as excursions and visits to cultural institutions offered.
Other destinations in the new 2026/27 Viking World Cruise itinerariy include Kauai (Nawiliwili), Hawaii; Cairns, Australia; Mombasa, Kenya; Agadir, Morocco; Phuket, Thailand; Lisbon, Portugal; London (Greenwich), England; and Stockholm, Sweden.
From now through March 31st, 2025, Viking is offering North American guests savings on 2026-2027 World Cruises of over $60,000 per couple, including free business class airfare and transfers, $4,000 per couple in shore excursion credit, $2,000 per couple in shipboard credit and complimentary Silver Spirits Beverage Packages.
Returning Viking guests also receive an additional $2,000 per couple in shipboard credit and a limited-time reduced deposit of 10%.
