Resorts World Cruises celebrates inaugural Dubai cruise aboard Resorts World One

Resorts World Cruises has arrived in Dubai with Resorts World One departing Friday on the first of a series of roundtrip Dubai itineraries in the Arabian Gulf

Resorts World One will depart Friday evening from Dubai Cruise Terminal 2 in Port Rashid, sailing a 2-night weekend cruise to Sir Bani Yas, followed by two more roundtrip cruises during the week to Qatar and Oman.

A special celebratory event was held aboard the 1,800-passenger vessel, with close to 600 Dubai tourism officials, travel agents and other invitees gathering to commemorate the cruise line’s inaugural sailing from the UAE.

As part of the inaugural sailing celebration, guests will be offered special added-value promotions, including complimentary Food & Beverage Onboard Credits valued at AED 700 or US$190 per cabin for sailings in November for both the 3-Night Oman Cruise and the 2-Night Qatar Cruise.

“We have been counting down the days and we are delighted that the Resorts World One has arrived in Dubai and is ready to sail,” said Michael Goh, President, Resorts World Cruises. “We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the local and regional governments, authorities, travel business partners, media and our guests for the support.”

“We are looking forward to bringing unique experiences to the Gulf region and we are excited to launch our first cruise with a special onboard Diwali celebration for the entire week,” he added.

Saud Hareb Almheiri, Cruise Tourism & Yachting Lead at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said the inaugural sailing of Resorts World Cruises from Dubai underscores the city’s ongoing growth as a premier cruise destination, attracting world-class operators, and providing exceptional experiences for global travellers seeking to explore the region.

As an international cruise line based in Singapore, Resorts World Cruises provides world-renowned Asian hospitality, complemented with personalised, unique, luxurious and diverse international experiences.

The cruise line is the first ever to operate in the Arabian Gulf with a specific focus on tailoring the cruise experience for Muslim passengers with Halal certification, and shorter voyages of 2 to 3 nights to make Dubai cruises accessible to domestic passengers that dont have the time for a longer full week cruise.

Resorts World One is certified by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and The Standards and Metrology Institute to offer certified Halal cuisines, including vegetarian / Jain cuisine; and Muslim-friendly onboard offerings.

Aboard Resorts World One, guests will be able to enjoy authentic Asian and international cuisines (inclusive certified Halal and vegetarian) and world class theatre performances. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, The Palace, a luxury ship-within-a-ship private all-suite enclave offers exclusive amenities, including its own 24-hour butler service.

Resorts World One will sail three roundtrip cruises every week from Dubai until March next year. Every Friday, she will depart on a two-night cruise to Sir Bani Yas Island, followed by a Sunday departure of two nights to Khasab in Oman, and a Wednesday departure of three nights to Qatar, Doha.
