Azamara has announced a special offer to celebrate Labor Day, with passengers able to receive Four Free Nights and a $600 onboard credit on select 2023 and 2024 sailings, including a West Africa voyage to Cape Town.
The deal is being offered on select 2023 and 2024 sailings booked from now until September 6th, 2023, including exotic itineraries like West Africa, which Azamara says are growing in popularity as guests seekless crowds and cooler temperatures.
The 18-night West Africa cruise aboard Azamara Pursuit encourages guests to discover lesser-traveled destinations, encounter rich, novel cultures and explore the varied and poignant history of a region that was at the heart of the Atlantic slave trade.
Departing November 21st, 2023, guests can meet locals in Banjul, Gambia on Africa’s Smiling Coast, see Africa’s wildlife and sand dunes in Walvis Bay, Namibia, and enjoy the fishing village and former German colony of Luderitz, Namibia.
The ship arrives in Cape Town on December 9th, where the cruise ends. Here guests can explore the imposing Table Mountain, a sentinel to the Cape of Good Hope, so named because for centuries it marked the end of the first leg of the perilous voyages between Britain and her Indian colonies.
Other historical accounts says that Dias named the promontory Cape of Storms and that John II of Portugal renamed it Cape of Good Hope to encourage more maritime traffic around the Cape in the 15th century, when it was a Portuguese colony.

The ship also stays overnight in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam so guests can immerse themselves in the restaurants, nightclubs, markets, and French colonial architecture mixed with modern and Asian influences of the city.
A 15-night Chilean Fjords yoyage aboard Azamara Quest departs January 7th, 2024 from Buenos Aires, Argentina and features three Extended Destination Days in Montevideo, Uruguay; Port Stanley, Falkland Islands; and Punta Arenas, Chile, in addition to an overnight stay in Ushuaia, Argentina.
