New luxury expedition ship Seabourn Pursuit to carry two submersibles 

Seabourn Pursuit, the newest luxury expedition cruise ship from the brand, will feature a range of once-in-a-lifetime experiences when she is introduced, including Zodiac cruising, scuba diving, scuba diving, kayaking, and underwater trips on two onboard submersibles.

These experiences will be designed to immerse guests in each destination visited, with a selection of activities offered at each call, by the ship’s team of 24 experts, including scientists, scholars and naturalists.

These experts will lead off-ship expeditions, while also offering insights and guidance throughout the voyagein lectures, seminars and smaller workshops.

The Seabourn submersibles are certified by Lloyd’s Register, the world’s leading ship classification society,and will be operated by trained pilots. The submarine will be luxuriously outfitted as well, with leather seats and Champagne served onboard.

Scheduled to launch on August 12th, 2023, Seabourn Pursuit will sail five voyages in the Mediterranean before embarking on two voyages across the Atlantic and through the Caribbean.

The ship will arrive in Barbados in October, from which she’ll then sail a series of expedition voyages exploring coastal South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica through late March, 2024.

Seabourn Pursuit is a sister ship to Seabourn Venture and will be the second vessel in the cruise line’s new expedition class of ships. At 23,000 gross tons and carrying just 264 passengers, these PC-6 Polar Class vessels will be able to sail through first-year ice to some of the most remote destinations in Antarctica.

The ships feature unique design touches such as an Observation Lounge modelled on the navigation bridgeand offer 132 luxurious oceanfront veranda suites.

The ship’s are some of the most luxurious expedition vessels ever brought to market, with all-inclusive dining and drinks, all-suite accommodations with oceanfront views, and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere.
