Virgin Voyages is upgrading its onboard entertainment fleet-wide ahead of its 2023 cruise from Dubai to Singapore aboard new ship Resilient Lady.
The cruise line is promising new shows, parties, additional live music acts and a festival stage of rotating performances, as well as the return of guests’ favorite shows such as the modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet ‘Duel Reality’ and Untitled Dance-Show-Party-Thing, a music video-style dance show.
“We are so excited to bring our award-winning entertainment approach to life in 2023 across our whole fleet,” said Richard Kilman, Vice President of Entertainment, Virgin Voyages.
“With the anticipated launch of Resilient Lady, we’re expanding on our entertainment and nightlife, and we’re thrilled to debut a new line-up of shows with the same incredible production elements,” he added.
“Across the fleet, we are tapping into talent from all around the world, we’re ramping up comedy acts, and we are introducing new immersive performances that stick to that uniquely Virgin Voyages style and give people the opportunity to see or do something they never have before. It’s going to be epic,” Kilman said.
The 2023 entertainment lineup will feature Supper Club Series, bringing back the style and sophistication of the classic supper clubs, as well as previously introduced Festival Stage Acts, a series of rotating performances that change every two to four weeks.
A range of new productions will also be available aboard Resilient Lady:
Persephone: An original concept by House of Yes and produced by Kaleidoscope Immersive.
Lola’s Library: A cocktail party / immersive cabaret, Lola’s Library is an after-hours literary affair that takes guests through a book collection of a mysterious author.
Supper Club Series Featuring Another Rose: The experience combines cabaret, dining experience and theater spectacle.
Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle: A solo show where the Mind Mangler attempts to read guests’ minds.
Miss Behave: A game show with lots of audience participation.
Additionally, Virgin Voyages’ will launch two soirées in The Manor: an 80s party and a celebration called “We Fancy”.
